    Considering J-Rich literally beat Desmond Mason head to head in a dunk contest you should put him higher than D-Mase. Hell, J-Rich should be #2, hes got the top 2 dunk contest dunks of all time and he and Jordan (and maybe someone else I'm forgetting) are the only players to win back to back slam dunk contests. My list would be:
    1. VC
    2. J-Rich
    3. Steve Francis
    4. Josh Smith
    5. Andre Iguodala
    6. Desmond Mason
    7. Kobe
    8. Dwayne Wade
    9.T-Mac
    10. JR Smith

    And I'm probably forgetting some players.

    Does a player have to be a star to qualify? Gerald Green likely pretty much everyone on those lists.

    LeBron doesnt dunk better than kobe..he hasnt entered or won a dunk a contest so he cant be a dunk champ. I think desmond mason or NATE ROBINSON!!!come on the 5 7 dunk champ.. he needs to be in it

    This thread is based on game dunks. So having a dunk championship doesn't make you a better game dunker.

    Are you 13, Kobe won the slam dunk contest when he was very young. I wouldn't be surprise if Kobe wins the dunk contest again because he is a very creative person. Lebron, no disrespect, but he's more like a power dunker, similar to Amare Stourdemire.

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">This thread is based on game dunks. So having a dunk championship doesn't make you a better game dunker.</div>
    The thread doesn't stated it bases on game dunk. I think the original poster want to rank the dunkers base on the overall: power, leaping ability, dunk champion, and most important creativity. Having a dunk championship under your belt can speak for itself.

    VC is a great dunker, no question; probably the best ever. But I really hate when VC turns Kobe down for a superstar dunk contest back in 1999 or 2000. Then later, Kobe withdrawed from the contest because he didn't want to risk injury for the contest; he also wanted his legs fresh for the 2nd half as the Lakers was about to compete for a title. If the Lakers wasn't a champion contender and Carter being "I don't know" (maybe scared of Kobe?), that contest might go down as the best dunk contest ever, a rival to MJ vs DW showdown.

    I would rank them:

    1. VC <=> KB
    2. KB <=> VC
    3. J-Richardson

    ...4-10 can be a debate
