    This is mindboggling.

Does he not have an agent or some, any, common sense to know that saying such a thing could hurt his pay-day more than anything? Does he know by putting on a show of his own via the media the last few months makes teams and fans cringe away from him.

I seriously wouldn't want him back, unless he comes really cheap.

Why would we want Swift[IMG] . We need guys that are proven in this league, not another bust. He relies only on his athletisism to play the game, he has no clue how to play[IMG] . We need a center that can score (Swift avergaged 8.9pts), rebound (Swift averaged 4.4rebs) and block shots (Swift averaged .76blks).

Swift is just not what we need at all... We need a guy who can play.

If you guys want Stromile Swift, take him. I'd be happy if Houston trades him for a bag of peanuts or a second-round pick, whichever is more desirable. He's a waste on the bench.

I'm not a big fan of the Rockets signing Mike James, but if we can get rid of Swift's MLE, I'd gladly pay James the same amount.

they can have him. if some team is willing to over-pay for him, then more power to them

he turned into a selfish chucker who made bad descisions in crucial points of the game. hell, id almost be willing to pay to make sure he DOESNT return. i loved mike james in the beginning of the season...then that love affair ended abruptly. i dont like his game at all...i dont want him back. frankly im GLAD he doesnt want to sign here...makes it an easy situation for everyone.

    SEE YA!

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting MrJ:</div><div class="quote_post">I never thought Mike James would want to stay in Toronto once he became a free agent. The Raptors should have gotten rid of him while they had the chance. He averaged 20 points, 6 assists, and shot 47% from the field and 44% from downtown. I'm sure Toronto could have gotten decent compensation for him.</div>

It was basically showing Bosh that we're commited to winning and to help Bosh stay in TO, because at that time, the situation was shaky. By keeping James, who Bosh is close with and wants to keep, it allowed us to help Bosh make the commitment he did.

As good as he was in the playoffs last year, no coach who values his job would be excited about a starting backcourt of Rafer Alston and Mike James.

If he did come to Houston, he wouldn't be starting. He'd probably serve as a backup in a spark off the bench role. Probably only occasionally will he be playing alongside Alston.

He'll leave next year, but he wont be playing for Houston. If a team trades you to another team, then it's clear that they don't need you anymore. Why would the Rockets want him back anyways?

Sometimes, I really thought like: "Yeah, nice play or nice shot, James" but then again in some moments he thinks that he's the star in this team and takes some important shots, and doesn't make very many of them.
He should gave the ball to Bosh more, if Bosh will get the ball, things will happen. His fast and can get to the rim. He can shoot the ball well for a PF or dish the ball to an open player.

So I wouldn't mind of trading Mike James, but yeah - hell no we want Stromile Swift. Pointless guy, makes some pretty dunks but that's all.

I think that if Mike James would play in the Rockets uniform, then he wouldn't take shots like that, he would be a good role player and will fit in their system. Cause he knows how big player T-Mac and Yao are so... But we'll never know. But again;D I will agree with most of the guys, that you can go Mike James !
