it seems like Dallas going to advance to the Western final, if there is not any Suns and Lakers scenario..... can Dallas claim the title this year? though i dont really interesting who's going to get the title this year since the Lakers fell in game 7

winning this game was critical because now they only need to win one out the 3 remaining.. its gonna be too hard for spurs to catch up but i dont think it'll happen.. this is dallas' year. they will be in da finals against pistons.. them winning this game just makes this playoffs be more tougher and more exciting. You never know who can win cuz this year anyone can. everyone thought that it was gonna be spurs vs. pistons again but now since dallas is beating spurs.. any team can win the finals... so its hard to predict who it'll be.

C'mon Dallas, I dont want to see the Spurs make the finals again. I think this series will go to 6 games, Dallas winning at home.

I guaransheed that the Mavs will advance to the West Finals and lose...to the Suns. That's right, Suns in the Finals. (you can thank the NBA playoff seeding system)

Don't get too confident. The key for Game 5 is for the Mavs to at least stay close and make it a close game. If it's a blowout, then the Spurs will have all the confidence and I wouldn't be surprised to see them win the series. That's what happened in Game 5 in the Orlando/Detroit series 3 years ago and the Lakers/Suns series(the last 2 series' that this has happened), Detroit/Suns both won big and stole the momentum and confidence.

Uhh, we have to beat the clippers first and they're looking like they won't go away easy. Of course maybe by the time we get to the conf finals, assuming we do, KT might be ready to come back. Of course he'll be rusty as hell. But still, we're dying from a lack of a big presence inside.

I like Avery's approach which is to say that the Mavs haven't won anything yet (Terry's jubilant post-game celebration not-withstanding).

The series is now down to 3-games with the Spurs owning 2-games at home. The first quarter (consequently the first half) of Game 5 is critical for the Mavs to break the spirit of this Spurs team with a champions-heart. They need to do to the Spurs what they did to the Grizz in Game 4 of that series.

I expect a colossal battle as long as the Mavs don't lose their edge. I don't expect the Spurs to go down easy. This will be an intense game.

Flow-- I'm not sure how you can call yourself a Lakers/Suns fan.... especially after that series. Were you just sitting there all series long giggling everytime anyone made a shot??? When Kobe hit the GW were u screaming like a little girl? Did Tim Thomas's game tying shot in game 6 garner the same reaction?

My theory is this- you don't know much about basketball and unable to decide which bandwagon to jump on you hopped on both! Lakers first, when they were winning, but then sort've changed your mind when you saw the Suns weren't done quite yet.

I give the suns all the credit in the world, I don't like em, don't really respect em- but they did accomplish something pretty impressive.

As for the Suns: "fo champs" ? If they can barely sqeak by the Lakers and the Clippers (THE CLIPPERS???) How in all hell do you think they can beat Detroit?

I dont' know...maybe we'll see DET added to your fav teams as well by the end of the season...

I`ve said it before. I`m just tired of San Antonio, them being as one of the top NBA teams, NBA champs, everything. I hope Dallas puts the nail on the coffin tommorow night.

    Just hoping a Suns-Lakers schnerio doesn`t occur...

I like Miami and I like New Jersey. I watch the series and scream like a panzy when Wade knocks down a shot, and when Carter dunks it in. Nothing wrong if 2 of your favorite teams just happen to make it to the finals and go head to head.

Another thing, I liked Phoenix and Lakers before they met in the finals. Now I hate the Suns, and I am pissed off at the Lakers (still love em as long as they have Kobe). I guess if you like 2 teams (well I like Lakers a lot) and they meet in the finals, you may have to turn against one.

The Mavs looked unstoppable in that overtime last night, but I'm sure the end result would have been much different if Manu wasn't called for that foul. As much as I want to think the Mavs have wrapped this one up, its just to tough to write off the Spurs. For some reason, I just don't think the Spurs are going to lose this series.

well, being down 3-1 is definetly not someplace anyone wants to be, especially against a team like the dallas mavericks. i highly doubt the spurs can comeback, although im not saying its impossible. the spurs could have won last game if duncan made that jump shot, and the spurs could have won game 3 if it wasnt for ginobli's stupid turnover.
