Heard about this during half time today, I really can't wait.

I think they're bringing Kobe in so they can finally show the public there is no beef between Charles and Kobe.

It's gonna be so weird though, I wonder how him and Charles are gonna act with each other.

I can't wait for the Kobe Gone Fishin pics, LOL, oh man, it's gonna be so good.

Kobe can finally nip it in the bud Wednesday and put that BS talk about him being selfish to rest.

Kobe text messaged Sir Charles about his comments after game 7. When you text someone, there is no beef. Unfortunately, America doesn't realize that.

Wait, what? What are you trying to say?

Just because he texted him that means there's no beef?

It's not the fact that it was a text message over a phone call, it's the contents of those text messages.

There is definite beef between the two, whether either party wants to admit it. But, I'm almost positive that TNT and the NBA want to bring Kobe on the show to show everyone that rest assured everything is fine between Kobe and Charles and to put all the talk aside about them hating each other, even though deep inside their hearts, they despise each other.

Nah, there is no one more impartial to the game of basketball than the Chuckster. There is no beef. Chuck might have thought he should have shot more, but that's just Chuck letting his thoughts be known. Nothing more.

And TNT would never want to bring the two together to squash any beef, it's bad for ratings, and no network would do that.

You're crazy, bad for ratings? NO WAY, Kobe being on the show alone would increase the ratings. Bringing Kobe after the whole Game 7 controversary, EVEN more ratings.

Sorry, I don't think Charles is impartial anymore. He has a soft spot for some players and teams, and other players he absolutely tries his hardest to directly or subliminally attack.

It's one thing to give your opinion on a game, after all, they're NBA analysts. What Charles did was different though. He made some very strong statements towards Kobe Bryant.

It's one thing to point out that he only took 3 field goals in the 2nd half and possibly hurt his teams chance of coming back and winning, but to call him "Selfish" and "Purposely didn't shoot to prove a point" is different.

How come Charles didn't dwell on the other Laker players as much? How bout all the god damn Lakers who forgot to show up for Game 7 of the god damn playoffs. I didn't hear Chuck knocking them on their bad performance or their lack of will to win, instead, all the attention was drawn to Kobe.

I mean, I wonder what would have happened if it was Lebron in that same situation, would they have said "LeBron tried his hardest to get his team involved, he was very unselfish and passed the ball so they can knock down their open shots"

It's like EVERYONE forgot how well Kobe played in that 1st half, and after scoring 23 points, they were STILL down by 15+. Okay, OBVIOUSLY Kobe scoring wasn't the issue, the team was not contributing, and the only way they beat the Suns in the other game was by everyone in double digits and balance scoring.

Whatever, I don't want to get into the whole Game 7 crap again, but come on, Chuck is not impartial, if anything, his buddy Kenny Smith is.

yeah! Chuck is a Laker and Kobe hater. Chuck favorite teams are the San Antonio Spurs, Detroit Pistons and Miami Heat. Its funny though when those teams loose he doesn't critisize them as much as if it was the Lakers or Kobe Bryant. Do you guys ever notice that?

yes, I have, and I've noted that before too in a thread where I said he had a soft spot for Spurs and Tim Duncan.

I laugh when he says he has no agenda or is completely unbiased.

Another cheap gimmick by TNT to boost ratings during the "sweeps" week. I don't expect anything to really happen, Barkley is going to say "listen you're the best player in the game" at 20 times and say I don't have an agenda, blah blah.

Kenny Smith is going to "Kobe why? Explain it to us what was happening and what was said in the locker room."

I hope Kobe gives some insight to the Laker offseason though. I want to know who else he invited to his offseason training.

If there was a beef, the chances of Kobe coming on TNT would be slim... I don't think anything personal is going on between Kobe and Chuck to be honest.

Nah, you are only half right. Kobe doesn't have any beef against Barkley but it's Barkley who has a beef against Kobe. Do you know how many times he criticizes Kobe? Maybe people try to compare kobe to MJ and MJ is his buddy so he hates Kobe for that reason. I definitely think Barkley has an agenda toward Kobe, no question here. He fakes it if he doesn't.

I'm going to watch the halftime for sure just to see what Kobe going to do this offseason :=)

    As a Mavs-fan, Barkley's hater-ways are well-documented. I agree he has team biases, but is that poor-analysis or ratings-genius.

The more we hate him the more we want to listen to his ridiculous rant it seems. I try to ignore what he says most times, but I still find myself listening to their post-game comments.

So I too will tuned in on Wednesday even if the Mavs and Spurs weren't playing that night.

    Jack Nicholson, LOL!!!

He came to the Clippers vs Suns game, and they're like Jack's jumping on the bandwagon.

And Craig Sager asks him "Jack, what are you doing here, are you switching sides?"

And he goes "I came out here to help out my man Kobe in case Charles Barkley gives him a hard time"

Damnit, I think I totally messed up what he said, but it was great.

I don't think Jack realizes that Kobe will be on Wednesday night, not TUESDAY night, LOL.

Good lookin out tho Jack! That's what I'm talking about.

Man!!!! those guys on TNT are TOTALLY hyping this thing up; particularly Kenny... I guess he can't wait to see what Kobe's got to say to Barkley... I hope he really lays it in on him; in a politically-correct sort-of-way...
