    Sorry to post what may seem like a sılly question but Ive seen many of the players now wearing the black tıghts under their shorts like Dwayne Wade and a few others can anyone tell me why? Does it help with past injuries?

    Its supposed to act as a padding for that area

    I thought it was supposed to keep the joints and ligaments warm, thereby keeping them loose and pain free..

    Its a new trend Kobe started supposidly it warms up ur legs so blood flows better. =)

    Didn't T-Mac start it by wearing one on just one leg? Kobe started wearing it on both legs, and it spread like a wildfire after that. J-Will uses them, and I know he has had problems with his knee tenditis this season. I don't know about other people like D-Wade though.

    I've seen Ray Allen wear them as well.

    Are these leg warmers the same material that is used in the elbow band that AI always wears?

    Its a shame the NBA banned these for no reason, starting next season...nobody was harmed or it wasnt bad looking, so why ban them...

    Yeah they are like super stretchy just like AIs sleeve

    Players also wear pads on their thighs now. I think Manu was wearing them yesterday. I know Wade also does.

    I sometimes wonder if David Stern is a control freak. Banning tights? he may as well ban headbands.

    It already is. After a couple players wore them, everyone has them. Even Toni Kukoc wore them lol
