Also...it looks like David Locke will do the radio play-by-play...man that guy is annoying...

As much as I enjoyed making fun of Ehlo I'm not shedding any tears over seeing him move on. I never respected Wilkins as an NBA analyst or a coach for that matter so I'm not overly anticipating him working alongside the best play by play man in the league.

But that being said it could be worse. We could have hired Sam Perkins.

As for the radio, until XM radio starts an NBA package I'm never going to hear a KJR broadcast of a Sonic game so I have absolutely no opinion about Locke taking over the reigns as lead play by play for the radio. I actually have never heard the guy talk outside of those excerpts of interviews on Softy's show.

I wonder what is going to happen to our tribute to Ehlo thread. Won't be the same w/o him--and that is about as complimentary as it gets for the man that replaces him.

I'm not a huge fan of Lenny either. I'm not sure how he'll mesh with KC...but KC being the pro he is, he can make something out of nothing.

In my opinion, I think that the best TV team we had was Marques Johnson and KC. Maybe FOX can do a sign and trade with Ehlo taking Johnson's place at the Huskies games.

I was hoping they'd bring Billy back.

Yes, I forgot to mention Billy. Billy was very good as well...I enjoyed his commentary. I remember at a game...while I was walking to my seats, Billy walked out right in front of us to get some coffee. I might have startled him because I blurted out "HEY BILLY!!!!" He responded back by saying, "Hey how y'all doing?". Nice guy...

Isn't Billy working as player personnel guy somewhere?

And Lenny is a pretty boring choice. He doesn't usually have much to say except for 'It really was'. Watch for it this season. For example:

KC: 'Sonics are playing great team defense' (work with me here guys)

    Lenny: 'They really are'

KC: 'Rashard made a great move off the dribble'

    Lenny: 'He really did'

    Etc.

As far as Ehlo. What can I say...I'm going to miss him in a strange way. Ah well, maybe he'll pick up a radio gig, or end up doing ESPN or TNT [IMG]

McKinney is doing the T-Wolves broadcasts as color analyst or at least had been since he left Seattle.
