Today the spurs need to win to keep going, do you think they will win at least two more games to go to game 7? or is this the end for the spurs? As close as these games have been its anyone game, the spurs need to find a way to limit the dallas player to no more than 20 for players like harris, stachouse and terry.
The Spurs don't deserve to advance and they won't. They're gonna look back at the last few minutes of each game and see how many opportunities they threw away with stupid turnovers. Very uncharacteristic of the Spurs we've come to know over the years.

The Spurs have the heart of a champion and I wouldn't be surprised if they won 3 in a row (extremely distraught, but not surprised). The question is will they allow distractions (like believing the refs are against them) to affect how they execute down the stretch. It is unusual for this team to lose their poise, and yet 2 veteran players (Van Excel in Game 2 and Barry in Game 4) have done so.
The pressure is on, and Dallas has to make sure they don't let up even with the 3-1 lead. This will be a very interesting game.
The Spurs are tough at home, and they won't go down without a fight. I'm just shocked at the lack of playing time Popovich has given Rasho and Nazr. The Spurs have been very successul in the post season by simply being a lot bigger than their opponents. Not having Rasho or Nazr in the middle to clog up the lane has allowed Dallas to take advantage of it's quickness. The Mavs are getting a lot of easy layups and are getting their hands on a lot of offensive rebounds. The Spurs post season strength has always been their ability to keep their opponent to one and done. The rebounding battle is being lost by the Spurs so far in this series. They have to get back to what got them 60+ wins in the regular season. Which is grind it out basketball. Game 1 - DAL 47 to 40 rebounding edge (13 offensive) - loss Game 2 - DAL 39 to 34 rebounding edge (10 offensive) - win Game 3 - DAL 39 to 36 rebounding edge (12 offensive) - win Game 4 - DAL 39 to 37 rebounding edge (13 offensive) - win In close games these extra opportunities make all the difference in the final outcome. The Spurs have been outrebounded in every single game, and have allowed the Mavs to get double digit offensive boards. They need to control the glass tonight to get back in the series. I expect another close game, but the Spurs pulling out the victory.
