Well, Phil Jackson said, "there is going to be some big changes in the off season. Obviously Kobe is not one of them." I definitely see Phil pushing the Lakers management to pull a trade. I don't think Phil feels that Bynum will improve while he is a coach. If Lakers pull the trade, we become automatic contenders. Everyone is hoping for KG to come to the Lakers; Charles, the NBA fans, the Laker fans, and the media. More revenue for everyone. KG damand a trade win some rings.
Just having fun: Garnett's number (21) + Amount of championships Kobe has won (3) = 24, and we all know what 24 means!!!! LOL
24 means Jack Bauer is gon kick Kobe's @$$ for taking his number! On the real, I'm expecting changes, but I've leaned away from the big changes, I want minor to medium changes. I want Jason Terry and Reggie Evans. Terry, Kobe, Odom, Evans, Kwame is one hell of a defensive lineup, with some kick on offense.
i dont think we have enough money to get both terry and evans. if we can get one for the MLE, then i would be happy. but knowing mitch, he will spend it on an old veteran who will get injuried and be out for the season
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Smoke:</div><div class="quote_post">I totallly agree. This rumor is so old that it is played out. I want KG to win I really do. The Timberwolves orginization better make something happen this off season. Check this out guys for you graveling Laker fans. </div> <font color=""Blue"">hey kid that is sick!!! you are the man for the laker jersey on KG. </font>
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Brian:</div><div class="quote_post">KG will look good in purple and gold. i just hope mitch has enough brains to pull this off.........</div> Seriously though, Jackson may say there will be big changes, but theres a small probability of something like that happening. Other teams may not be willing to part way's with their star, i.e. Minnesota.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting philip2136:</div><div class="quote_post">i seriously think getting jason terry will be good for this team</div> well, considering the way JT has been playing in the playoffs, he is most likely going to get huge offers. i doubt we have the money under the cap to match
