I'm just curious what percentage of Ben Wallace's free throws would you say he misses without hitting the rim? Even for a guy who shoots it at 40%, he airballs at a ridiculous frequency. I would say at 2 or 3 times the rate Shaq does.

I'd be curious if this stat was maintained anywhere. But can anyone give a ballpark figure just from what they've seen? Is it more than, say, 1 out of 10?

    That's a great question.

The fact that he does that just shows he isn't trying, its bad basketball. If he would at least hit the rim his team would have a chance to get the offensive rebound. When he airballs, tjhe other team get the ball automatically.
