Oh Hell NO! Are you crazy?? First of all. I would never trade Tmac. He is the guy who turn this team around and made it a playoff contender. Second of all Iverson will take shots away from Yao. No way man. I would never trade Tmac. If you wanna get Iverson. Trade anyone except Yao or McGrady.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Well we might have to throw in Luther Head, but this trade is pretty nice for both teams. I know everyone wants to keep T-Mac, but his back may be a problem in the future. We get a superstar and a borderline all star (who has to play next to AI btw), but maybe JVG can limit AI. They are both good defenders. Philly wants to give up on AI. They would need a PG and a star in return.</div> Hell no. First of all, from the Philly point of view, I would never part with Iguodala, a promising young player that is dripping with potential and the best player (pound for pound) in the league for a guy that just came off and season riddled with back problems that have been rumored to be chronic. From the Houston point of view, it doesn't really make that much sense either. Why break up the dynamic duo after only two seasons, which is really, just one since last season was a nightmare. McGrady and Yao seem to have a lot more potential to do great things compared to Iverson and Yao. McGrady just has a lot more of an outside game which frees up the floor for Yao while Iverson tends to drive the ball inside more which really won't work that well since Yao will be clogging up the lane.
Ok. I do not want that trade, but Philly is shopping AI, and Houston is known for pulling the trigger on trades. I think its still a somewhat fair trade. AI is like 4-5 years older than T-Mac...but Iguadola is younger than T-Mac. If we were to trade T-Mac...this trade would be the one that would least piss me off (be reasonable...Kobe and Lebron aint going anywhere).

If im the GM of the Hawks i would counter that trade and add Al Harrington, Tryonne Lue for Luther Head Juwan Howard and Bob Sura
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TmacGarnett:</div><div class="quote_post">Al Harrington for Juwan Howard and Luther head</div> I think Harrington's trade value is much higher than that.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">If im the GM of the Hawks i would counter that trade and add Al Harrington, Tryonne Lue for Luther Head Juwan Howard and Bob Sura</div> Bob Sura's pretty much done. But yeah Durvasa's right, whoever has Harrington would probably want more. He can play both forward positions, is athletic, can put the ball on the floor alittle, and score a ton, so that pretty much sums it up.
Howard/Head for Raef Lafrentz/Juan Dixon Howard/Head for David Lee/Jamal Crawford Howard/Sura for Darius Miles Howard/Head for Donyell Marshall/ Luke Jackson Howard/ Head for P.J. Brown Head/Hayes for David Lee Howard/Head/Novak for Odom Howard/Sura for Korver Howard/Head for Szczerbiak Howard/Head/Sura/Bowen for Steve Francis Howard/ Head/Sura/Mataumbo for Mihm/Cook YOU PICK!!!!!
Almost all of those trades are quite impossible, sorry to say. You're pretty much overrating Howard and Head while underrating the trade values of a lot of players. I like the idea of having Lafrentz though; big power forward who can also play center, has a nice shot and is a good helpside shotblocker. Only downside is his contract.

Obviously, the interest is there.
