Game 2 TONIGHT!!! I can't wait, and by the way could someone sticky this thread like the other series threads...Gracias
Man, where is the refs with their 13 first quarter FTs when a team is down double digits and can't get it going offensively? oh wait, it's there, but not for the Heat. gg refs
48-37 Pistons at the half. Detroit finishes the half on a 7-0 run. The Heat are still very much in this game.
We can never get back in this game because once we get momentum the whistles start blowing. All our runs where answered with whistles, ref forced turnovers, and Piston FTs. None of them were answered by Detroit. None. Not even Jordan's Bulls can overcome that crap. And people wonder why the Piston's are so good. At times it looks like the Heat don't even care about winning anymore, they look more interested in wanting to expose this crap the NBA calls it's "best officiating crew".
Yep...turnovers make me angry. Haslem needs to score. I know he's not a big scorer but come on. Make some shots! And Walker is again inconsistent....
Really frustrating game until end of the fourth, Ben Wallace was playing amazing D on Shaq and Hunter was playing good D
Real frustrating game, the Heat really didn't get into a rythm until the end but it was just to late. Walker played terrible, and I mean terrible, I was going crazy watchin him dribble off his foot, and take bad shots . Zo played good, and even though I am in no way, shape, or form, a Piston fan that was one of the worst calls I have ever seen by Dick Bavetta in the end. Although we lost it was still a great effort, and we did show some heart with that comeback 17 points in one minute and 34 seconds is insaaaanee Can't wait to see the Heat take the series lead in the M.I.A. GOO HEAAAAT!!!
I love how the refs are awarding techincal fouls and flagrants against us when we're not the team who started the Detroit Riots. That tech on Shandon for untangling Rip Hamilton off his back was ridiculous. You would think after that "incident" the Pistons would be the ones being handed flagrants and techincal fouls. Not true, what kinda message does that send to the league, "if you can create image problems for the NBA we'll knock your main competitor off and give everyone else techs and flagrants just for looking at you the wrong way. Image problems win championships."
Now that I think about it, I'm just gonna say it: Pistons were the better team today. They simply outplayed us. We didn't play good enough to win and some of the shot selection and decision making when we had a chance to come back proves it. That half-*** effort in the first quarter did us in IMO.

The poor decision making, that was a huge problem and Walker played a big role in that hes the most incosistent basketball player of all time. And when hes not hot, he makes the worst mistakes ever and plays horrrible. Last night in Game 2 the way Walker was playing I don't know how Pat left him in the game..
Turnovers by Wade were just toooooo many. He can't let it happen again. And that three he took when we were down by...I think 7 or so? Was unnecessary. He could have passed it to Shaq cuz I don't think Shaq had free space toward the rim. Walker better play like a winner. So nobody played perfect last night.
A nice run at the end by the Heat, scoring 17 points in a 1:27 spand, however, we came up short. We had way too many TO's, especially in the 3rd quarter. Shaq had some nice looks, but his shots we're just to shoot most of the time, with no arc. Nobody really played well for us tonight, so everybody has to bring it in Game 3 at home.
If the Heat came back and won the game, that would totally kill the Pistons morale. It would only be 2-0, but I don't think Detroit could rebound if they let that one slip through the fingers, it would be over IMO.
JBB was down so im posting on last nights game, now. Wade was just unstoppable and there was countless highlights throughout the game. Wades And1 layup was crazy, and Shaq coast 2 coast was awesome. We just owned the Pistons, and ladies and gentlemen this series is over. GOO HEAAAT!!!!
This has been a coming out party for the Heat. This team that Pat Rielly put together was made for this series. Detroit tried everything and none of it worked.

However, that being said, I think the Heat will go into the Palace and end the series tonight.
Oh god... we couldn't have played any worse than tonight. I feel this would put more pressure on us at home. We HAVE TO WIN on Friday otherwise, you will go through what the Cavs went through earlier. We will go back to Detroit with the series tied, and we'll probally end up losing at Palace. We have to get the next win.
Todays loss was mosty because of our poor free throw shooting, we played like crap, and we still had this game. In the end our loss was on missed free throws, and .....Tayshaun Prince. This Game 6 in Miami is huge but I am confident we will take care of business Game 6, we have more then enough veterans on this team to lead and close out Detroit.
