Even though we lost game 1 we're still in it. We just won a game 7 sunday and still almost beat the heat. The heat are gonna make it a good series but ultimately, we will prevail.
The only reason the Pistons came back from a 20-8 deficit is because in the first quarter the refs sent you to the line 13 times when you couldn't buy a basket to save your lives (and we only had 1 FTA in that quarter) and because they accounted for half of our turnovers thus giving the Pistons extra possessions (not that they all came from the ref calls/non-calls, but you had 18 more FGAs than we did despite only 4 more off. boards). Did you also realize that you had our two MVPs out half the game because the refs hit them with some (not all) of the most ridiculous calls to put them in foul trouble? I mean, just look at what has to happen for you guys to win. And you didn't win. Quite frankly if everyone still hasn't figured out the Heat have been the better team since last year, and that the only way you can win is if you play a perfect game and get all the favoritism from the officiating, then you're just in denial. You guys have no answer for Shaq, you guys have no answer for Wade (they combined for 56ppg @ 54% in the regular season against the Pistons) and you guys have no answer for our depth (which you haven't needed to address because amazingly all your key players have never been in foul trouble in their lives)
Yall had 6 days of rest?? Still struggled to beat us. That wasnt our best performance ill admit but game 2 is a totally different story. And stay in your own forum.
Detroit struggled with Cleveland, i think they may struggle with miami, i see miami winning the series in 6
how did we still struggle to beet u?we beet u and thats all that counts. the pistons struggled to beet the cavs and i think it will be the same in miami except miami will take it faster. and we can go to any forum we want.

Miami went on a key run withOUT Shaq and Wade. Yet they struggled to beat the Pistons?
Struggle as in yall aint blow us out. Yall beat us, ill give yall that, yall deserved it. As your almighty Shaq once said, "We messed that game up." And we did. Game 2 is all Pistons. Holla.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting triple18:</div><div class="quote_post">Even though we lost game 1 we're still in it.</div> Who said it was over?
This is going to be a great series, but i dont see why everyone is getting so mad about how close the game was, a win is a win.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting slpnsld23:</div><div class="quote_post">cocky sons of bitches...</div> i'm not sure if the pistons are the team to call anyone "cocky" and with all the flops Detroit has done over the past season i'm not sure if they're the team to be calling others "b!tches"
Who says it is over?? I wouldn't take this Pistons team lightly and jump to conclusion. Cavs fans did it and got humiliated at the end. For the moment, Heat is leading the series by one game. And we got a valuable win at Detroit. We didn't struggle at all. Pistons had their run in 3rd quarter and actually got the lead but so what? We played mostly without Wade and Shaq. And Who even said this series will be a lobsided one? Most of the games in this series will come down to the last shot.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting 02civic:</div><div class="quote_post">i'm not sure if the pistons are the team to call anyone "cocky" and with all the flops Detroit has done over the past season i'm not sure if they're the team to be calling others "b!tches" </div> I know thats right. Detroit players are cocky, and they complain about every single call that does not go their way. Nobody thinks this series is over, its going to be a good series. The Pistons always show reselience, they won't go down quietly.
I hate when the Pistons or any of thier fans say "We don't get enough respect" or anything to that standard. DAMN STRAIGHT YOU DO...and you're not exactly "underrated" you have 4 all-stars on your team, plus a potential allstar in Prince and a former all star in Mcdyess. Who are you kidding? Even though I don't like the Heat (cause I REALLY dont wanna see Alonzo Mourning get a ring the way he did), I will go agianst the Pistons because they are way too cocky for thier own good. Pistons won't roll over, but if the Heat can get consistency from Walker (whom I dislike as well), this series is hopefully over in 6 and the Pistons cockyness dies down a little. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> Nobody said its over, so it's not over. Dude, YOU'RE THE PISTONS, pick ur selves up a little bit...there are 6 games to go, anything can happen. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> And stay in your own forum. </div> Why???? Where's the fun in that
Detroit is defenitely cocky, I am tired of they're fans and players really, I am tired of Deeeeeeeeeeeeettrrroooooooooooit Basketballllllllllllllll. Im sorry to say it, but I am sure tons of people in this world will agree with me.
All you haters need to shut your mouth....everybody hates the Pistons....its probably because we whoop all you guys so you get mad. seriously, i have never seen a bigger group of sissys then you guys. Oh lets hate on the Pistons because theyre good, and dont have a superstar, so theyre boooring....

Not everyone dislikes the Pistons, but the ones who I know that do dislike them is because they overrate thier "underration" (not exactly sure if that is a word), and they are cocky (reasonably so but nonetheless) beyond thier own good. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> ....its probably because we whoop all you guys so you get mad. </div> Not really. They're not boring because they don't have a superstar, they (for me personally) are annoying to stomach, although I admit they are one hell of a team. If they just shut up and stop whining aboput respect and officials and guaransheeds, I will like them like I used to once upon a time.
Pistons were the better team today. They simply outplayed us. We didn't play good enough to win and some of the shot selection and decision making when we had a chance to come back proves it. Good game (atleast from your half).
The Pistons get to much respect. All playoffs we've been waiting to see the real Pistons and they've choked. They are sooo cocky and I hate having to watch The Wallaces, Billups, and Hamilton cry like abunch of babies after every foul. The only player I respect on that team I Tayshaun Prince, he has shown his great ability and actually gave credit where credit is due. He didn't use the tired excuse, he said that Wade has been a phenominal player. Tay is your best player IMO.
