thanks for the heads up I just listened and it said Kobe Bryant in the next hour, so I'm guessing around 12:30 pm PST, anyone know the exact time so I can make sure I tune in?
I heard the interview today. It's always great to hear Kobe but man, he has to stop being so politicly correct all the time. Dan asked him about 22 of the voters leaving him off of their ballots and about if he thinks he will ever be greater than Mike. Kobe just gave generic answers. I wanted him to just come out and be real about it all. Oh well, Kobe is still the best and thats all that matters. Later!
Kobe Bryant Radio Interview..Speaking on Game 7, The King, D Wade and The Haters He was on the Dan Patrick Show today..You Can listen to the complete interview at www.robertlittal.com .. he also talked about Lebron James and Dwayne Wade..it was a very good interview and thanks to Mr. Littal I didn't have to pay espn to listen to it, so I thought some of you who missed it would appreciate that.
Michael, good lookin' out bro! Thanks for the link. I haven't even heard the interview yet, I got caught up in the Top 28 NBA Sexiest Wifeys, gawd damn, some of these broads are FINE. lol @ Jason Williams having a black girlfriend, I KNEW IT!
ok, heard the interview, I'm actually loving Kobe being politically correct all the time. It's not what we WANT to hear, but it's what he should say, especially seeing how many people are watching his every single move. He's handling every situation thrown at him almost perfectly in my opinion. On his performance in Game 7, to him not being in the MVP ballot by 22 analysts. When Dan Patrick asked him how he felt about that, he gave the perfect response. What's happening is, these anti-Kobe analysts and writers THRIVE off ANYTHING they can get Kobe to screw up on, that includes interviews like this so the INSTANT he slips on something and says something that was conceited or anything like that, they'll call him big headed etc. You gotta think of it from Kobe's point of view. If he says "Yeah Dan, that's bullshit, how could they leave me off their ballot considering what an amazing season I had, ESPECIALLY after dropping 81 in a game?" Bit of exageration there, but you get my point. Good interview Kobe. lol @ him picking Detroit in 7. You know DAMN WELL he doesn't want Shaq to win a title, lol. Even if he does, look at the Heat team and look at the Laker team, I don't think anyone would be foolish enough to say "See, Shaq can win a title without Kobe"
Forgot to mention the Mark Jackson part about him being better than Jordan when it's all said and done. KobeTheLegend, what did you want him to say? Let's be realistic here, I honestly believe Kobe will be better than Jordan in the end, but when Kobe's asked that question he can't come out and say, Yeah I'm better than him. I actually don't think Kobe is fronting too much when he says he doesn't want to be mentioned in the same breath as Michael Jordan. Yeah he's probably being really modest, but it's really hard to argue that Jordan isn't the greatest of all time. There's no way in the world people can say Kobe is better than Jordan NOW, that's why Mark Jackson said when it's ALL said and done......THAT statement, I agree with. You gotta remember, Kobe uses a lot of what Jordan did. That disgusting fadeaway that's virtually impossible to defend when perfected was pretty much all MJ. It's wayy to early to say he is better than Jordan. Personally, 5 secs left in a game, I'd still pick Kobe over Jordan for that last shot. I hate hearing how many clutch shots or game winners Jordan has hit when the topic of who's more clutch is brought up because Kobe still has arguably 7-8 more years in his career (if not more, until he gets a title he won't retire, lol) so obviously he won't have as many, either way, I'm not too huge on stats. It's more the quality of shots in my opinion. I'm getting way off topic so I'm just gonna stop here... Basically what I'm saying is he replied to everything perfectly and he has long ways to go to be considered the greatest ever, I do, however think he will prevail in the end, win more titles, and be called the G.O.A.T
<font color=""Red"">
Quote:

<font color=""Red"">If you dont want him as MVP that's one thing but I think people made that personal with Kobe Bryant. You know just like with Bonds. Your job is to vote. Not because a guy gave you an interview, didn't give you an interview, likes you, doesn't like you. And thats what factors in and that's where I have a problem with this. I voted for guys that I dont like, dont agree with but you know what. You can't have Kobe on your ballot not top 5. Can't do that. I believe that's personal for some people.
<font color=""Black"">Never in my life would I've ever thought I'd hear something like that from Dan Patrick. Maybe it's because Kobe gave him an interview who knows. Great stuff!
