did you know that when Wade was in HS (Richards) and Eddy Curry was in HS (Thornwood) both players/teams met and Wade took on the challenge of guarding Curry? Even though Curry had 8 inches on him, Wade still was able to block him twice ! http://www.chicagosportsreview.com/news/ne...ew.asp?c=138037
this is the thing about high school basketball not all teams have a player whos 6'11 or a decent center size (6'8?) so they have to play players who in maybe the college and nba level will play like sg to play center at least on defense

For a kid who's at a big disadvantage in height/weight that's not bad at all IMO.
8 inches in reality is huge advantage. It's easier said than done. It's like me going against some kindergarden kids and getting blocked lol
yeah, the thing is Wade is 6'4 but he plays like 6'7. It's not about the size of the dog in the fight, it's about the size of the fight in the dog.
im not taking anything ffrom wade thats a great accomplishment but i was just stating a point on why he proabably was guarding curry
I came in here expecting this thread to have people arguing about who is the better player of the two.
