Marbury might leave the Knicks for Allen Iverson or Kevin Garnett.
    What do you guys think?

Yeah, a trade like that will not happen, but other than that, Marbury should be traded.

are u talking about a trade because if you are WOW. ai and kg and like a million times better than marbury. Stephon's best years were when he was with minni. Those were his most successful years. he sucks now. unless he is the number 2 guy he will never be good

I would welcome those trades for Iverson and Garnett, but I think Marbury might be one of our less attractive trade chips.

I don’t think we should go out and try to trade Marbury, but if a trade scenario presents itself which betters our team, then I won’t be opposed to it. Marbury definitely isn’t as selfish as he’s depicted as. I think Marbury’s low averages is more a result of Brown’s coaching than it is Marbury regressing. Marbury tried his best to play Brown’s way. He improved on defense, and was the most passive he’s been throughout his entire career.

Put it this way: We won’t get very much for Marbury at this stage, so we might as well just keep him and let him increase his trade value next year.

i know for fact we cannot get a superstar like AI or KG in return for marbury, we would probably get a player that's overpaid with a huge expiring contract

Marbury's stock has been down for a long time, true the knicks won't get much from trading Marbury, but I think it would be a breath of fresh air for the Knicks to let him go. And they can still can get a decent player for him. Isiah has to stop living his dreams and start working. He can't get what he had in detroit. He has to look at other options. Ship Marbury out and fill in the front court. Build around Francis, maybe it's better to put him in the 2 spot and get a PG to compliment Francis. The Iverson and Garnett trade is unrealistic right now. I think a major revamp is what the Knicks need.

Trade him to Minnesota or the Lakers. Those are the only 2 teams that I can think that would take a chance on him.
