I know it may a little late but I always start things after the week is over. Offensive MVP: QB Carson Palmer, he has one of the highest QB ratings and has 70% passing. Defensive MVP: Indianapolis D-Line, It's hard to choose because they have Dwight Freeney, Robert Mathis, and Corey Simon. Best Coach: Tom Coughlin, he is give Eli the production and is one of the highest scoring teams in the NFL. Offensive Rookie: QB Kyle Orton, he has more touchdowns than Vick. *Laughs* Defensive Rookie: LB O'Dell, Thurman he has over 50 tackles and 4 interceptions. Best Offseason Addition: WR Plaxico Burress, He is helping Eli and is starting to becoem a rising star. Worst Offseason Addition: S Fred Smoot, Have anyone ever heard of this guy ever since we was signed? Most Surprising Player: Drew Bledsoe, He still has some gas in the tank despite how many teams he's played with. Most Surprising Team: Seattle Seahawks, Seems like a no-brainer. Most Disappointing Team: Baltimore Ravens, I thought they would be a Superbowl team... Who else thought so?

He is a cornerback. He was playing some legit corner, until he started running his mouth, and got owned by Steve Smith.
I dont think the Seahawks are the biggest suprise, they always make a really good run and then collapse in the playoffs. I would say either, Tampa, Carolina or else Chicago.
I would have out for the surprises for Jets at worst. possibly Chicsgo, even though i called them doin good, for best surprise
I think Tampa with Brian Griese was the biggest surprise. But watch them squander the rest of their season behind Chris Simms.
Fred Smoot is out for 4 weeks with a shoulder injury, but he got his ego killed against steve smith, 11 catches 201 yards for Smith against Smoot and 1 TD
I think the Packers are the most disappointing team. You can point to injuries and free agent losses, sure, but the fact that the Packers haven't had a losing season in more than ten years makes their current 1-7 record in a word...well...disappointing. If you've read any of my posts about Drew Bledsoe before the season started, you'll see that I, personally, am not surprised by his success with the Cowboys, but I know a ton of people are. I think that's a good pick. Smoot, Sharper and all of the defensive help the Vikings got in the offseason have to be considered disappointments.
Most Surprising Team: Bengals - Came out of nowhere Most Disappointing Team: Patriots - All that talk about the Pats 3-peating and Bill Belichick being the best coach in the NFL blah blah blah that keeps being said and now they can't stay above .500. Chicago isn't that much of a surprise team, they're just rebuilding (doing good at it). They were 4-12 in 02', 7-9 in 03', and now it's obvious they will improve on their last season record because they're 5-3 in week 10 so all they have to do is go 3-3 to do better than last year. To be a surprise team, you have to be really bad last year and then be one of the best teams.

They are doing a little better than expected but this is a team that has been knocking at the door for the last two season. they have been 8-8 in the last two season and I definately knew they would do well this year. Chicago were 5 - 11 last year! I think they are the suprise team, their defense has been so much better this year and their offense isn't top quality yet but they are doing something. I go with Chicago for the suprise team of the year. Especially after Grossman went down, they were total write offs at the start of the year
