    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">1. CLEVELAND CAVALIERS

? Their pick: LeBron James, 6-8, Akron (Ohio) St. Vincent-St. Mary HS

? Our pick: James. A no-brainer: James would have been the top pick in every draft since 1998.

    2. DETROIT PISTONS

    ? Their pick: Darko Milicic, 7-1, Serbia-Montenegro

? Our pick: Dwyane Wade, 6-5, Marquette. Pistons gambled on Milicic but Wade's impact was immediate.

    3. DENVER NUGGETS

? Their pick: Carmelo Anthony, 6-8, Syracuse

? Our pick: Chris Bosh, 6-11, Georgia Tech. Nuggets take Bosh over Anthony and save money spent on Kenyon Martin.

    4. TORONTO RAPTORS

    ? Their pick: Bosh

? Our pick: Anthony. Couldn't go wrong either way: Both are elite members of this class.

    5. MIAMI HEAT

    ? Their pick: Wade

? Our pick: Josh Howard, 6-6, Wake Forest. Heat made a wise choice, but if Wade's off the board, the former ACC Player of the Year is the best bet to move into the top five.

    6. L.A. CLIPPERS

? Their pick: Chris Kaman, 7-0, Central Michigan

? Our pick: Kaman. Elton Brand's sidekick was the smart choice then and would be the same now.

    7. CHICAGO BULLS

    ? Their pick: Kirk Hinrich, 6-4, 190, G, Kansas

? Our pick: Hinrich. Another right-on choice, Hinrich's value is overlooked because of his classmates.

    8. MILWAUKEE BUCKS

    ? Their pick: T.J. Ford, 6-0, Texas

? Our pick: Boris Diaw, 6-9, France. Hawks picked and traded this budding star, who is as versatile as anyone in the class.

    9. NEW YORK KNICKS

? Their pick: Mike Sweetney, 6-8, Georgetown.

? Our pick: David West, 6-9, Xavier. College player of the year was the No. 18 pick, but should have gone much higher.

    10. WASHINGTON WIZARDS

? Their pick: Jarvis Hayes, 6-7, Georgia

? Our pick: Ford. Drops two spots on our list but remains a talent for a playoff team.

    11. GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS

? Their pick: Mickael Pietrus, 6-6, France

? Our pick: Luke Ridnour, 6-2, Oregon. National team invitee was the No. 14 pick and still has untapped potential.

    12. SEATTLE SUPERSONICS

? Their pick: Nick Collison, 6-9, Kansas

? Our pick: Zaza Pachulia, 6-11, Republic of Georgia. No. 42 pick in '03 has emerged as one of top two centers in the class.

    13. MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES

? Their pick: Marcus Banks, 6-1, UNLV

? Our pick: Marquis Daniels, 6-6, Auburn. Dallas lucked into signing the versatile, and undrafted, Daniels as a free agent.

    14. SEATTLE SUPERSONICS

    ? Their pick: Ridnour

? Our pick: Collison. A great value pick at No. 12 in 2003, Collison is exactly as advertised.

    15. ORLANDO MAGIC

? Their pick: Reece Gaines, 6-6, Louisville

? Our pick: Leandro Barbosa, 6-3, Brazil. Went No. 28 in this draft, the same spot as another overlooked foreign guard in 2001 (Tony Parker).</div>

    Rest of the draft

Wow I completely agree on all those. Except one. No way should we have tooken Wade. Thats the common mistake everybody makes....If i had to do it all over again i would take Milicic again (well maybe not but i wouldnt take Wade or Anthony), because we wouldnt of won the championship. We would have been focused around that player, and Chauncey would of never got the points he needs, and we most likely never would of acquired Sheed.

    Good job otherwise

EDIT: The rest of Draft Class link dosent work.

I think you need to sign up in order to read it. You probably won't want to so, here is the rest

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">16. BOSTON CELTICS

    • Their pick: Troy Bell, 6-1, Boston College

    • Our pick: Kyle Korver, 6-7, Creighton. Deadeye shooter was No. 51 in this draft. Bell is out of the league.

    17. PHOENIX SUNS

    • Their pick: Zarko Cabarkapa, 6-11, Serbia-Montenegro

    • Our pick: Milicic. This is 15 spots below his actual draft position — and perhaps still a bit high.

    18. NEW ORLEANS HORNETS

    • Their pick: West

    • Our pick: Banks. The 13th pick was too lofty a spot for Banks in '03, although he did emerge this season in Minnesota.

    19. UTAH JAZZ

    • Their pick: Aleksandar Pavlovic, 6-7, Serbia-Montenegro

    • Our pick: Kendrick Perkins, 6-10, Ozen (Texas) HS. Jazz could have saved cash on Carlos Boozer by taking Perkins over Pavlovic.

    20. BOSTON CELTICS

    • Their pick: Dahntay Jones, 6-6, Duke

    • Our pick: Sweetney. Drops from No. 9 to a much more reasonable top 20 spot for a solid role player.

    21. ATLANTA HAWKS

    • Their pick: Diaw

    • Our pick: Maurice Williams, 6-2, Alabama. Diaw was the right pick, but Williams, who fell to 47th, would have solved the point guard problem.

    22. NEW JERSEY NETS

    • Their pick: Zoran Planinic, 6-6, Croatia

    • Our pick: Brian Cook, 6-10, Illinois. Nets should have snagged the sweet-shooting Cook, who went 24th to Lakers.

    23. PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS

    • Their pick: Travis Outlaw, 6-9, Starkville (Miss.) HS

    • Our pick: Matt Bonner, 6-10, Florida. While the Blazers are still waiting for Outlaw to blossom, No. 45 pick Bonner is rock solid.

    24. L.A. LAKERS

    • Their pick: Cook

    • Our pick: Luke Walton, 6-9, Arizona. Lakers still get their man, just a few spots higher than they took him originally (No. 32).

    25. DETROIT PISTONS

    • Their pick: Carlos Delfino, 6-6, Argentina

    • Our pick: Pietrus. Neither Delfino nor Pietrus has emerged.

    26. MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES

    • Their pick: Ndubi Edi, 6-9, Houston Westbury Christian HS

    • Our pick: Steve Blake, 6-3, Maryland. Picked 36th, Blake is a starting-caliber point guard wherever he plays next season.

    27. MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES

    • Their pick: Perkins

    • Our pick: James Jones, 6-8, Miami. Trade from Indiana to Phoenix has jumpstarted the 49th pick's career.

    28. SAN ANTONIO SPURS

    • Their pick: Barbosa

    • Our pick: Jason Kapono, 6-7, UCLA. The sharp-shooting Kapono, a Heat reserve, moves up from No. 31.

    29. DALLAS MAVERICKS

    • Their pick: Howard

    • Our pick: Dahntay Jones. Jones drops nine spots from his actual draft spot and remains a work in progress.</div>

Its amazing how things changed. I would have been ecstatic if Anthony had fell to us at 4 back then. But now I'd much rather prefer Bosh. Josh Howard is the biggest steal of that draft.

And to think I wanted Barbosa all along for the Magic at 15. [IMG] Even though Gaines was a huge part in getting Dwight Howard, so I'm not complaining too much.
