Very funny, but this is Tim Thomas talking. Even if Stephon Marbury is a horrible teammate, I wouldn't believe it coming out the mouth of Tim Thomas. I remember him saying something like Ray Allen was a bad teammate and was stealing the limelight from him. We already know how Thomas performed in Allen's absence. He did nothing. The Suns will be sorry if they overpay for this clown in the offseason.
I agree, Tim is a good long range threat, but with Amarie coming back next year, I wouldn't overpay for Mr. Thomas either.
i think the reason that TT is mentioning it now is because he now realizes what a true PG should be like (Nash) and how Nash gets everyone involved, and thus they win games. I'm really starting to think that Marbury is a bad team-mate.. remember when he was in Minny (he didnt pass to KG because of jealousy--that KG got locked up to a big contract)..now TT and Kurt Thomas even cussed out Starbury

We should start a thread on this, players bringing other things that happened on their former teams that has no relevance to their current team. ur fresh off winning a playoff series, and instead of talking about how great a win it was, ur talkin about Stephon Marbury being a bad teammate on a team you don't even play for anymore. I dont really think it was a wierd going away present, but it does sound like he had a hard time with the "greatest point guard in the league yet decides to never showcase his great talent".
Could be that Timmy isn't telling us the whole truth. Maybe Marbury found out that Timmyboy slept with his sister or something..... and if that were the case, then he should be damn lucky to get an i-pod out of it!!
i think tim thomas is whack. he seems really cocky too me, and he cant really back it up. he was jawing at dirk during one of the playoff games, and instead of blowing up, he choked, while dirk went for 50pts.
A lot of you guys are acting like he just shouted this out of nowhere like a dude with turrets. Most likely, Vecsey asked Thomas a question about Marbury and he was just answering the question honestly. Reporters have to dig for quotes like these and I'm sure Vecsey pushed the topic rather than TT just bringing it up out of the blue.
