The 6'-10" forward told the Arizona Republic that he and his wife have decided against it because it would be "too much" with both being natives of the Garden State. Prior to signing with Phoenix, Thomas had made a number of statements to local media talking about how great it would be to return home.</div>

How would it be "too much"? Maybe he's looking for a starting job. I do believe that he should settle for Phoenix, even if they don't offer much. It's a great situation to be in, and their offensive system is perfect for him. A place like New Jersey doesn't have the necessary rebounding and defensive skills to hide TT's weaknesses. Unless we draft or trade for bigs this offseason, I wouldn't want to waste time trying to sign him..

I don't think the nets need a forward who is a downtown threat and can't rebound a lick, especially when they are 6"10.

Thomas doesn't play D, so he wouldn't get much time anyway.

I can see Thomas staying in PHX, they loved him and the way he played, and he loved them right back.
