On this day, Sunday, November 13th, 2005, the worst division in football did not see a losing team. Every team in the NFC North won today. Granted, two of the game swere against horrible teams, but the other two were against the Falcons and Giants. Way to go Black and Blue division!
Cuz they have a history of being tough teams, running teams, and being able to grind teams into submission.
That was a tough loss for the giants. Too many dumb mistakes and i think tht they just were overconfident. Great game though
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Why are they called the Black and Blue division?</div> And also because they beat up on each other every year. Generally speaking, the team that wins the NFC North is rarely 14-2 or 13-3. Every division game is tough, so most years you have a 9-7, 10-6, 11-5 type year for the division winner. When two NFC North teams play each other, you can pretty much throw the records out the window.

Tice made this point last night when they played a clip of Coughlin talking about the game. He pointed out that whenever the Vikings lose, he gives credit to the other team. He points out his own team's mistakes, but gives credit to playing a good team. Coughlin only blamed his team and didn't give the credit to the Vikes. Seems like the overconfidence extended past the game.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BearsFan1)</div><div class='quotemain'>With vikes upcoming schedule they have a shot to get back in the thick of things</div> That and the fact that the Bears have a very tough schedule remaining. Next week's game at Green Bay is huge.
if the vikings want to make the playoffs and stay in the thick of things they should get offensive TDs not special team and INT return TDs. sure INTs are great but you arent gonna get a chance to get 4 every game. And the fact that they didnt score with good field position in the other 3 INTs is an eyeopener.

Our division is so abusive..lol.... The Packers are rated 10th overal in Defense in the NFL...Wheres the offense?

That is just picking a fight dude! Edit: Regular Season

Can not say the same for other teams in division
he was just stating why they it is called the Black and Blue division, and that is why it is called that! There are nicknames for teams that don't necessarily still stand but they are still called it.
