LakersTalk.net has learned, from an anonymous source at the Times, that Kobe Bryant, the embattled basketball superstar, is set to do an advice column for the paper. "Anything from relationship to financial advice," the anonymous source said. Kobe is trying to create a new image. This bi-weekly advice column along with the number change (Kobe is going from 8 to 24 next season) is part of a new stage in Kobe's life. Kobe is said to be the one that most teammates talk to when they have personal problems so this seems like a logical choice for the Times. Kobe does realize you'll either love his advice column or hate his it, but as the anonymous source also said, "Kobe doesn't give a damn either way as long as people read it." This hasn't been proven by any of the major media outlets and I hardly trust a fan board anymore. I think it's 100% BS. I think someone is trying to get some recognition by starting another Laker rumor.
Yah, I don't see Kobe spending alot of his time responding to these blogs... And personally, I wouldn't want him to..
Not that I think this is funny but I can just imagine someone writing to him. Kobe, What do I do if I'm at a resort in Colorodo and I meet some 18 year old white girl that I htink is hot and rape her? I doubt he would take the job because of people like that.
I don't think this is true. Kobe is one of those people who shouldn't tell anyone how to live their lives considering the things he has been through. I could understand if it was basketball advice, but off the court... I highly doubt he would do this.
It wouldn't surprise me if Kobe was considering this. He got a lot of positive feedback as a guest analyst on TNT. He seems to be making a concious effort to change his image. There's a perception Kobe is like a robot off the court and I think he's slowly opening himself up to his fans and critics. He's always been very guarded when it came to the media. A lot of player have online blogs, eventually every player in the league might end up having one. It's a great tool for them to express their thoughts and give you some insight into their personal life.
Whoa!! Now I'm going to buy the papers everyday. I wonder if he will do well though since he only has a high school education.

Is anybody who didn't go to college stupid? Watch your comments buddy, they can be easily taken out of context. College isn't everything, you don't need to go to college to be smart. You don't need to go to college to give good advice and your personal opinion. I didn't know they had a personal opinion class. When I'm registering for college this fall, I'll make sure to sign up for Personal Opinion 101.
