This is a trade that can work out for both teams. Utah wanted Araujo before, and maybe they can make some use for him. For us as the Raptors, we traded Araujo for a guy that is 5 years younger than him, and can still be a decent NBA player, and is truly no worse than Araujo. We also get Whaley, who can be decent, he just needs to not be a goof.
One critcism of the Hoffa pick was that the raptors likely could have traded down around the 15-20th range in order to draft him. However I remember Babcock saying after the draft that there is no way Hoffa would have slipped past the Jazz at 13 at the time i didn't really believe it. But I think the fact Utah traded for Hoffa provides some validity to what babcock was saying about Utah wanting him on draft night. Regardless though he still drafted a bust. With regards to the actuall trade, could be that a change in situation will benefit both of these players eg. win win, but i must say im not really a kris humphries fan. He seems cocky & arrogant for a one dimensional player. Nevertheless he seems athletic perhaps he will become a servicble bench player/energy guy if he can accept his role. I wish Hoffa all the best.

this trade just guarantees utah as the least likable places for players to play..i meant..yeah...on a thread posted earlier utah is already #1 but hey...this trade definitely guarantees it
