What do you guys think we should do this year. this is obviously a big offseason for us, please post your toughts on the draft, trade ideas, and free agency. I like the idea that we have 3, 2nd round picks. I would love to get dee brown, powe or pj tucker, and pops mb. as for the 6th, morrison, tyrus, gay, would all be good. or maybe trading for two picks later in teh first and maybe a player. Also i have no clue who are the free agents this year, could anyone see if they could get a list.

Next, the T-Wolves have a gaping hole in the middle, so I'd look at guys like Lorenzen Wright, Tony Battie, or Joel Pryzbilla, who would all be reasonably affordable and servicable, unless of course the Wolves look to draft Shelden Williams or Patrick O'Bryant. I'd go with either Roy or Gay in the draft though (in that order), simply because the two-guard position was the T-Wolves' least productive position last season, and McCants in hindsight probably wasn't the greatest of picks and doesn't have an immediate future as an NBA player. Roy also makes sense for the T-Wolves as the most "NBA-ready" player in the draft. The last thing management wants to do is test Garnett's patience with a developing project like Gay.
Thanks for the list VC, Shape. I would love to see nazr here, przybilla would be nice but he didnt seem to like it here in minny. he played high school ball and one year of college here and i have heard that he has no interest in coming back here. Zo would be great but i dont see that ever happening. as for the draft, i think that we should trade back in the draft to get patrick o'bryant or this guy from senegal i forgot his name and pickin up a solid sg or sf in exchange. as for our sg not contributing, that is mostly from hassell playing the sg a lot, and he doesnt score that well. i see him averaging double figures maybe even 12-15 ppg next year. banks is a key but not for too much money. he is a solid young guy that could develope, but not for the 30 million he wanted earlier. we have enough pg's and mccants can even play some point, so it wont be a tragedy if we lose him.
Ok since no one cares about the future of our team (just playin) i'll post again. The word is that we take foye at number 6. I do not like this pick. we already have the same player in mccants and wright, we done need him. we need (in this order) a center, a pg, and a wing (bigger guy who can play mostly sf, and some sg. i say lie before, we trade for 2 picks in the first some how and get rondo, and either saer sene or POB, and then in the second round take vincent grier. He was first team all big ten two years ago and beat out either deron, head, or brown (i forgot which one) from illinois after there amazing year. i do not want mchale to pick anyone ever again. unless its the next kg
i am not quite ready to do that. if we land a good free agent and foye has a big year. we could be really good. mccants will hopefully be back to full strength by the end of the year. and ricky and kg never got to mesh yet.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Swish15:</div><div class="quote_post">I think the Timberwolves need to enter a rebuilding mode.</div> Agree. The T'Wolves have a young core with Foye and McCants that shows promise so at this point I hope Mchale can surround those guys with other young players (Tyrus Thomas? Tyson Chandler?) for Garnett so the team can mold together. Garnett has to be sick of the situation in Minnesota, nobody in the history of the league has done less to try and get talent around their superstar.
PG- Randy Foye SG- Rashad Mccants SF- Tyrus Thomas PF- Eddie Griffen C- Tyson Chandler Young, talented, and perfect for rebuilding.
eddie will be too busy in the locker room before the game, lol. but i am intrigued by the chi-town rumor, but we owe two first rounders, if they could somehow cover that, and give us NY's next year then i would probably do it.
