<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Nick Fazekas tested the waters. Apparently, they were too deep.
Fazekas, a University of Nevada forward and former Ralston Valley High School graduate who declared early for the NBA draft, anticipates returning for his senior season. Fazekas said he will hold a news conference today in Reno.

Fazekas' father, Joe Fazekas, said he expects his son will go back to Nevada, which Fazekas said is "close to accurate." Asked if he will announce today he is returning to school, Fazekas said, "Yeah, probably."

Fazekas has said all along he would return unless given assurance he would be a first-round pick in the June 28 draft, which has not happened. The deadline to pull out of the draft is June 18.

"I think he's probably going to go back unless somebody comes forward and says they're going to pick him in the first round," Joe Fazekas said. </div>

Smart move. Him declaring might have just been to draw some attention to his name so scouts will watch him more this year and eventually figure out he's a first round pick. The kid puts up 20 and 10 consistantly and I see no reason why next year he can be a Mid-late first round pick.

Great move by Fazekas. If he wants to succeed in the NBA, then he must bulk up over the summer and have another solid season similar to what he had last year(averaged a double-double- 21.8 ppg, 10.4 rpg). I do love the kid's offensive game, though, and I believe some team will take him in the first round in next year's draft.

Good descision. i would love to see him as a sf in the scoring type of ak47 mold. he is long, great rebounder, anyone no his defense though. i havent watched him enough.
