<div align="center"></div> If we don't sign Jay Williams, I think we should seriously make a push in acquiring Knight(maybe try to unload Ollie). He's the most underrated point guard in the entire leauge. He's an amazing passer and a good floor general and a good defender. He'd provide us with that veteran leadership King is looking for. That way, we can shift our focus on acquiring a good big man(Shelden Williams/Cedric Simmons)/swingman(Rodney Carney/Ronnie Brewer/Shawne Williams). So let me try to write a scenario..if we were to get Knight, aqcuire an 2nd round pick then draft PF/C - Shelden Williams(great rebounder and shot blocker) with the 1st rounder, SG/SF- Bobby Jones(great defensive stopper) with the 2nd rounder and shift AI to the 2 and the roster should look like this: C- S.Williams/Hunter/Dalembert PF- Webber/S.Williams/Randolph SF- Iguodala/Jones/Korver SG- Iverson/Salmons/Jones PG- Knight/Green/L.Williams Shelden can be our defensive big man pulling down boards and blocking shots, Jones can be our defensive stopper(kinda like a Gerald Wallace) and help shut down opposing swingmen. And of course Knight will be that "Eric Snow" player that's desperately needed back in Philly, running the offense, letting A.I be the true A.I and also providing more defense and verteran leadership.
i definetly wouldnt mind brevin. he is smart, a great playmaker, and a good defender. that lineup would be sick. my only problem would be that both brevin and allen are very short. that could lead to big problems defensively.
I see what you're saying about the size woes Brian, but there can be a solution for that. For those times in a game when small ball just isn't going to cut it, sub in Jones and shift Iverson to PG temporarily over even go with a Iggy/Jones/Knight trio, that's some quality defense. They should hire me..seriously lol.

Now that I realize it, we'd have to give up Webber along with Ollie in order to get Knight, I think Charlotte would do it, It would benefit both teams IMO. We'd unload alot of CAP and be able to sign a guy like Chris Wilcox Sixers final roster: C- Steven Hunter/Samuel Dalembert/Shelden Williams PF- Shelden Williams/Chris Wilcox/Shavlik Randolph SF- Andre Iguodala/Bobby Jones/Kyle Korver SG- Allen Iverson/John Salmons/Bobby Jones PG- Brevin Knight/Willie Green/Louis Williams Bobcats Final roster: C- Emeka Okafor/Primoz Brezec/Jake Voskuhl PF- Chris Webber/Emeka Okafor/Sean May/Lonny Baxter SF- Adam Morrison/Jumaine Jones/Bernard Robinson SG- Gerald Wallace/Matt Carroll/Alan Anderson PG- Raymond Felton/Kevin Ollie/Kevin Burleson
whoa whoa whoa, what? how come we have to give up webber and ollie? i dont know why the bobcats would accept this trade. webber is way overppaid, and the bobcats should be looking at ways to save up cap space
Well that is a really smart idea to bring him in. But why would we need to get rid if Webber?i think the only way we consider that is if we get gerald wallace in a return as a sign and trade.

If you haven't noticed yet, the Bobcats are all about young players who get paid under $5 million. Webber is the polar opposite. They have been waiting for the right free agent class to just go crazy and spend it all, and even if they don't, they still have a nice young roster. I don't know why the Bobcats would want to slow the development of Emeka Okafor and Sean May by playing Okafor out of position and sticking May on the bench. Doesn't make any sense at all. As for Brevin Knight, he would be nice but isn't a top priority for this team. He's very old and toward the end of his career and I don't think this team would be willing to take another player that's 30+ years old. We're clearing building for the future, which is why Speedy Claxton, Nene, or Chris Wilcox would make much more sense even if it's through sign-and-trade or the MLE. Billy King has been known to trade back into the second round and maybe he can trade high enough in the second to get a guy like Hilton Armstrong (slipping big time) or even if he can trade up just into the back end of it, I wouldn't mind a guy like Dee Brown or Darius Washington Jr.
Don't be so sure that the 76ers are building towards the future. Billy King still thinks he can turn this team around now, because he wants to get this team back into the playoffs. Philly is not in rebuild mode yet. Nene wants more than MLE, Speedy Claxton is decent, and why Wilcox, to me he isn't much different from Dalembert of Hunter. I would like Brevin Knight, but everyone should hold off on what you think the 76ers free agency plans should be, because anything can happen on draft day and change everything the 76ers need or don't need.

Somebody has to step in and get his butt out of there before 200 people start showing up for the games. Philly is a football and baseball town in case nobody noticed, and the only way they pay to go too basketball games is if somebody puts a winning or young team on the floor.
Well he has been messing up for a while now, and it doesn't look like anybody is going to do any thing about it, so what can you say or do?
I don't know about you guys, but from what I seen this year. I would LOVE to have Anthony Johnson on our squad.
Maybe so but Anthony Johnson is a solid player, and it wouldn't be to hard to get him. I bet his contract is also smaller than Knights.
