It's more likely, however, Wallace moves west and the Pistons get a big man, perhaps for Brad Miller of the Kings or Erick Dampier of the Mavs. You figure the Lakers and Grizzlies would try to offer packages since it seems Wallace, too, needs a new start.

I can see the Pistons sign and trading him to some ignorant team who will give up way too much. If anything trading Ben could get them back up to contending status.

How is losing Big Ben going to hurt us more? His offensive output is useless, and even as of late his defense game has been under par, yet we still got to the Eastern Conference finals.

I wouldnt mind a trade for Brad Miller, while he isnt near the defensive beast Ben Wallace is (or was), he is a solid scorer who is still capable of crashing the boards, but not only that, he is probally the best passing big man in the game. And imagine Ben Wallace & Ron Artest on the same team.....

I'd like to see Ben stay, but we definatley need some sort of change to our roster this offseason, wether its to the sarting 5 or the bench, some changes must be made.

He was the DPOY this season, how has his defensive game as of late been under par?

So what? Awards mean nothing. Even I know Ben wasnt deserving of the award this season. Steve Nash won MVP, does that mean he played better thank Kobe this past season?

I think a lot of teams would be interested in Ben Wallace. If the 76ers got him, I seriously think they could contend. Wallace does everything the 76ers need DESPERATELY!

How about Samuel Dalembert for Ben?

Honestly getting rid of him would hurt us, and of course i want him back but maybe it would be best. All you guys are getting hyped up for your team possibly getting him but you will absolutely despise his offensive play after you see it night in and night out. Especially his free throw shooting....I almost pull my hair out every time he shoots at the charity strike.

Ben Wallace is a good defensive player, but he didn't deserve DPOY again this year.

Oh god no. There would be no point to this trade, both are very similar players, good defensive minds, but no offensive game what so ever. Plus Dalembert is on that ridiculous contract.

Sure he may or may not in your oppinion been the absolute best defender or best political choice; but its a hellofa fall going from DPOY to being under-par defensively

Nash didnt play better than Kobe this past season, he was voted a more valuable player for his team.

Ben might've been voted the best defensive player in the league, but you ask anyone with half a brain, and they'll tell you that he had quite a poor defensive year to his usual standards, and he didnt deserve the award. Personally, It should've gone to Andrei Kirilenko.

Well without Ben, you aren't going to lose any points, but you are going to lose lots of rebounds and blocks. Not to mention Ben Wallace always makes those hustle plays that matter.
