WIP 610 AM Philly Big Daddy this morning is saying that Lito Sheppard and Sheldon Brown are going to be supporting Owens at the arbitration hearing. Sheppard was quoted as saying "I vote for Owens to come back. In fact, take a survey around the locker room and see what you get." They are also questioning if Reid is losing the team. What are you guys hearing on local radio? Anything different than the typical drone of national media? I feel bad for Reid cause he is a good guy, although he should have known better. I hate to see TO beat Reid/Lurie/etc at this game.
I have not heard anything like this on the radio. I would be very surprised if they did. The guy I think is hurt the most in this is McNabb. He worked hard with Andy to get TO here, Andy Reid went against his instincts and signed thee guy. Then TO just turned around like that and stabbed McNabb in the back. Now it seems like McNabb has lost all confidence and the team is devisive. He's been through a lot, with Rush Limbaugh and injuries, but this is more then anyone should really have to go through. Your own teammate going off on you like that. I always thought that Football was 50% mental and 50% physical. Winning is an attitude and once you start winning you gain more and more confidence. However, once you disrupt that, it's hard to go back to it. Plus, it's one thing to be number one, but it's much harder to stay number one. We had a nice run for 5 years, and I still think that we have the talent to reload in the offseason and comeback strong next year.

I don't know a whole lot about WIP 610 AM, so its hard for me to know whether to take it verbatim or with a grain of salt. If they are right, it will be a sad deal for the organization. TO was bad enough, but they'll be alright if they can move on. A divided locker room after TO would really hurt.

They are fighting eachother more than the other team, and that spells trouble. They are definatly falling apart too many egos on a team, if i were McNabb or Reid i'd be pissed off that people are speaking out against me because they are the leaders and these guys are contridicting them. They wont be a playoff team till they get this all straighted out and it wont be this year
