Jordan declined then, but Johnson made it clear the offer was available any time Jordan changed his mind.

Besides the Bobcats, Jordan will become active in other Johnson business ventures. Aside from returning to the Bulls, Charlotte probably makes the most sense for Jordan because he grew up in North Carolina and played in college there.

''I'm excited to join Bob and invest alongside one of the most astute businessmen I know,'' Jordan said in a statement. ''I am also looking forward to providing my advice, where needed, to the Bobcats' management in order to put the best possible team on the court.''</div>

When asked about possibility of Jordan, 43, playing for the Bobcats, Johnson said: ''There is no chance of Michael playing.''</div>

No offense to his Airness, but I'm not too sure Jordan can make right decisions for an NBA team. I mean he was the one who chose Kwame Brown, and he didn't lead the Wizards to the playoffs. Nothing against him, just stating an example.

Rumors are is that he'll have a huge say in who they draft. They're brining in Gay, Roy, and Tyrus Thomas.

Does anybody remember: "With the first pick in the 2001 NBA Draft, the Washington Wizards select Kwame Brown"

I agree, his choices on the court were good ones, but what we have seen from the past his decisions haven`t been the greatest ones.
