<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Draft Express reports that the Trail Blazers have talked to the Nets about a swap of draft picks. Portland's two picks, at #30 and #31, would go to New Jersey for one of its picks, presumably #23. Portland reportedly wants to grab Florida State's Alexander Johnson. The trade would leave the Nets with two first-round picks, at #22 and #30, and two second-round picks, at #30 and #54. First-round picks are guaranteed four-year deals with a team option after two years, while second-round picks do not. </div> Source
I don't get how this trade would help us. I mean, we're trying to UNLOAD picks, not get more. We need to move up, not get two lesser picks for a good one.
Every year there is a trade with the Trailblazers....if the Nets trade, down then that just shows how shallow this year's draft is.
