I'm not sure who the starting SG will be. Seriously though, I see it being eerily similar to last years... PG-Smush Parker SG-Kobe SF-Odom PF-Kwame C-Mihm

PG: Marcus Banks SG: Kobe Bryant SF: Lamar Odom PF: Ronnie Turiaf C: Kwame Brown Bench: Shannon Brown, Smush Parker, Luke Walton
I'll be able to make my predictions after the draft. I wont doubt it being very similar to last years core group. It would be nice to see Mihm moved to PF and have Kwame play center.
I don't want to see that. Kwame can play PF, he showed it in Washington. He can't play alongside Mihm. They're both natural post players. The post isn't big enough for them. No matter how you shape it up, having them two on the court at the same time is not going to work. If we do keep Mihm, which I doubt, I'd like to see him come off the bench. Say we draft Shannon Brown and do acquire Marcus Banks, our bench lineup would consist of: Luke Walton, Shannon Brown, Smush Parker, and Chris Mihm. I'm happy with that. That's one of the deepest benches we've had in awhile.
Banks Kobe Walton unless a deal goes down Odom Kwame Listening to some of the coaching staff in interviews, it sounds like Mihm is 3rd on depth chart now at center.

One rumor has it that Chris Mihm along with Andrew Bynum and Aaron Mckie are headed to Golden State in exchange for Andris Biedrins, Monta Ellis, and Derek Fisher. That would be a horrible trade. But I really like Monta Ellis.

I don't think you have to worry about that rumor, there's no way the Lakers trade Bynum to a team in their same division. If they ever end up trading him it's likely to an Eastern Conference team.
I dont think Bynum's good enough, or has shown enough to say he's going to be good enough at some point, to warrant the Lakers being concerned where he goes. Iverson, Shaq..even a Ben Wallace, those players you wouldnt want playing against you to frequently becuase they will have big games....but Bynum, he probably wont be an impact player for years, if he ever becomes one. So in my opinion they wont take it into account. Even if they decide to trade him this offseason to say the Bucks...there's no saying that by the time he's a solid contributer he hasnt been traded a 2nd time to a division rival, or maybe he signed with one in FA.
I think we may land Peja, and the trade for Mihm to Chicago is still plausible so this is what I'm thinking: PG Duhon SG Kobe SF Peja PF Odom C Brown/Chandler (Take your pick) TRADE SMUSH DRAFT FARMAR
I don't think you can say either way with Bynum this early. Right now the only thing going for him is shear size and some rave reviews from the people who've coached him. Will all this translate out on the basketball court remains to be seen. The upcoming SPL in Long Beach should answer quite a few questions regarding Bynum's development.
Bynum is going to be our 2nd string center this year. Kareem has seen great things in Bynum, so that gives me a lot of confidence. Kareem was pleading with the coaching staff to give Bynum minutes last year, but they didn't. Mihm has fallen out of favor here in L.A. When he went down with injury, people saw what Kwame could do at center (12 ppg, 8 rpg, and solid defense) and they favor that over Mihm. Mihm is also in the final year of his contract and he won't sign for cheap. He knows he has some value and he'll ask for to much. I think the organization trades Mihm either this summer or by the deadline next year to get some value out of him, before he just walks away.
