Villanova should be on the rise considering that they still have returning starters Mike Nardi, and Will Sheridan, and Curtis Sumpter will be back. Also they have one of the top recruiting classes.

Honestly I don't see how Villanova is on the decline. Three years ago they weren't even in tournament contention and now they are returning Sumpter and Nardi from a #1 seed?

Sadly I think my Illini are on the down swing of things. We only have one top recruit coming in (Gordon) and just lost our locker room leader as well as Augustine. We will need to get a lot more recruits in to get back to the final four team we had a few years ago. Unless Randle improves tremendously and Gordon is a freshman monster I don’t see us going deep in the tournament next year, we might even miss it.

I'm really glad to see Hofstra get some props. Coach Tom Pecora has done an outstanding job with this team and I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see them in the preseason top 25...

I pretty much agree with your guys assestment about Villanova; they're definitely not on the decline and they still have some solid players returning next season(Nardi, Sumpter, Sheriden, Frasor, etc)...

Bruce Pearl is the main reason that Tennesee is on the Rise list. The coach is a genious and the administration is as well to bring him in. Nice to see GT on there, I knew that they needed a year to get back in and I was correct. Come on Thaddeus!

And he's the class of 2007, so he's not going to play this season.

Yeah I agree Illini is going to be worse, but I hope Jamar Smith takes the team, the kid can play and is oh so money from beyond the arc, also Chester Frazier just looks like Dee Brown, that should be enough to scare ppl, both are awesome and it helps that Frazier was two doors away from me last yr and Smith just around the corner [IMG]

I never liked Randle that much, I don't think he's going to improve that much. Illini, I still think they'll make the tourney.

Did you go to U of I? Is that what you mean by 2 doors away? Your dorms or something?
