Dude -- these kicks are sweet -- they're pink velvet leather with velcro straps. They have little 3D silver wings atttached to the sides. They have a super sticky rubber sole, such that every step you take squeaks like a blue jay during nesting season.

They weigh like 25 pounds so you can barely move in them, but the extra weight is really helpful for taking charges on point guards.

Also, I don't know how they did it, but there's these little red LED lights on the heels, and they light up and flash like a halloween carnival every time you make a high-IQ play. They're sweet!

I don't believe you. Dunleavy would never get a sneaker endorsement.

Now ladies pumps... that's something that might happen.

Well, they do have a little pump on them, but I think it's just for inflating your ego after going 1-12 from the field.

Does it make a high pitch whining noise when you let the air out? Or is that only when your starting backcourt teammates combine for 10-37 from the field and shoot 5-10 free throws at the line? [IMG]

I never knew high heels and velcro could make such a good combination.

That's offensive to the WNBA. They would never endorse a shoe that disappears when you take them off.

See it's the high-heels that make him listed at 6'9" -- without shoes he's 6'3", thus the "small man" mentality

Is that why he's always slow and missing shots?

Yeah - you know how the Shaq's have a sillouhette of him dunking with two hands, and the Jordan's have a sillouhette of him flying for the one handed dunk?

The duns have a silouhette of Dunleavy grabbing his balls as he's taking his patented charge on Earl Boykins.

I don't think so. Earl Boykins and his agent would never agree to be seen in a Nike brand logo with him. Reason: It's simply too embarassing. Plus, if we're depicting Dunleavy grabbing his balls we might as well throw in something else that's fictitious, like "hops", "consistency" and a "killer instinct".

If we're talking a real accurate Dunleavy Nike logo, I'd figure it'd be a silhouette of him shooting and having the ball go wide right and two feet short from the rim.

A Dunleavy or Fisher charge I don't mind as long as he's not overdoing it and they're playing honest D. I wish Murphy would do something like that instead of letting somebody else worry about defense like defense isn't his job.

Real charges should occur perhaps once every 3 or 4 NBA games.

95% of the time, the defender should not be looking to "draw" a charge.

It should just happen -- in those rare instances -- when the defender is not prepared to move or contest a shot.

Why? Because, as a defender, if you're actually thinking about standing still and not contesting the drive/shot/cut, you're not instinctively playing defense.

How many charges did Bill Russell "draw"? Uh, none? He was too busy working his ass off to block shots and force misses.

Well that's what happens when you can't block shots or stay in front. The dude either flops or let's the opposing dude dunk right at the basket. Murphy *cough* Dunleavy *cough*. Dun blocked more shots than Murph last year, though.

Yeah, I think Dun had 2 and Murph got 0.5 as he shared one with Foyle

A Murphy shotblock is a rare treat, but Murphy drawing a charge would be...

They're called the Dundun Flops. I got some for my little sister. On the toe there's a picture of Dunleavy sliding on his back with his feet in the air. They're much cooler than the Murphy Chuckers, or the Foyle Anvils (made of cast iron).

I haven't seen the new Pietrus' I think they didn't get delivered because they weren't in the right place at the right time

I had to return my Duns. At least once a week I'd dissapear entirely. Frequently I'd get real soft..little people would crash into me for laughs. I didn't have the strength to even toss my empties into the trash, kept missing short. I've Traded them in for a pair of Air France MP's...now I get there twice as fast. Not always sure where I'm going but it does save time.

I bought the Nike Air France kicks and I kept fouling people for no reason.

Also, I don't handle crowds very well in those shoes, as I try to go around people, but I end up crashing into them and falling down.

Don't ask about my Adonal Foyles because I can't even tie them for some reason. I keep fumbling with the laces.
