Dallas lost their lead heading into halftime, with the Heat going on a 19-6 run. Dallas came out smoking in the 1st quarter scoring 30 points, but only managed to score 18 in the 2nd quarter.

Once again it's DWade leading the Miami comeback, he has a game high 19 points to lead all scorers.

    Free throw count

    DWade 7
    Mavs 2

I felt Dallas had to take a convincing lead heading into halftime. I'm not sure what their confidence level is going to be coming out of the break. This could be the end of the NBA season.

Miami has extended their lead to 6 points with a 10-5 start to the 3rd quarter.

This game is over. Dallas is playing probably the stupidest ball I have seen in a long time. Jump shot after jump shot when they aren't making. Jason Terry pulling up for 3 on a 4 on 2 fast break when he's missed numerous shots in a row.

Heat will win this by at least 20.

Zo's defense has been huge in this game, I'd prefer him in the game over Shaq right now, he has 4 blocked shots. C'mon Heat just 8 more minutes!!!

The more i hear "well that looked like it could have been a foul.." every time the mavericks get bumped and there is no call to be found, the more i agree with cuban's stance on the officiating this series. Don't count the mavs out yet

Wade needs to be more selfish, when he passes the ball Jason Williams and Antoine Walker jut stand there and chuck up a 3 to beat the shot clock.

Dan Crawford's the worst ref in the NBA. Hope Marquis can help Mavs steal this one.

Pre-emptive ref blaming. Officiating hasn't been that bad in this game, if the Mavs lose there's no one to blame except themselves (and the Heat).

please. Pre-emptive ref blaming with a reason.

You can't sneeze in Wade's direction without being called for a shooting foul.
Cuban is right, the game is rigged.

the NBA is a terribly officiated league where the favourites get the calls.
    the NBA is a joke.

Congrats to the Heat on winning the title. 2006 was one of the best playoffs for the league.

because Wade someone came in contact with Wade, it's how the NBA works.

It's the finals. cmon. fair calls? [IMG]

Scary moments at the end for the heat, but once again the mavs couldnt capitalize. Do i want to blame the refs? of course. However, the mavs did have chances to win 5 of these 6 games, and they just plain choked. Well, at any rate, congrats to the heat on their championship. Hopefully the mavs can do some retooling grab some hardware next year.

Dallas overachieved BIG TIME this season.
On paper they had no business even being in this series from a personnel perspective.

I have to question Avery Johnson's coaching decisions down the stretch. The Mavs got back in this game with their small lineup and Daniels matching up with Wade on defense.

The minute Avery took Marquis out of the game the Mavs lost the lead again. Also why is Dampier in the game at the end when you need a 3pointer? You should have your best shooters on the floor and hope they can convert on a drive and kick out.

In the closing moments of the last 4 games, Pat Riley has owned the coaching matchup against Avery Johnson and it made the difference.

No different than the calls all the superstar guards have been getting all season. Can't wait to hear the Mavs' media excuse-fest tonight, they've managed to make me hate them enough to root for Shaq.
