Tmac made the NBA Live 07 cover today. It was between lebron james and tmac and tmac got it. I am going to get NBA 2k7 and NBA Live 07, now its yao's turn sometime in the future to get on the cover.
Thats pretty random considering T-Mac had an unsuccessful, injury riddled season. Not a bad pick in terms of marketability and whatnot but its usually someone who just came off a big year.
They had him since last season planned for the cover. I dont think there was enough time to change so they kept him. They werent expecting the kind of season he had. So that is why, but you are right maybe kobe or lebron deserved it. Prolly next year tho.
This could be the start of some good fortune. The NFL cover is a jinx everyone plays bad when they got it. The NBA cover Dwayne Wade got it last year and wins it this year. Could this be the start of a new tradition??? I hope so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am happy he made the cover, but why are people mad about it? It's a cover, if one doesn't like it, sharpie his face out! It's not like he won some prestigious MVP award or anything. But if they D-Wade tradition continues from year to year, I am totally stoked.
I knew it! T-Mac was on the 06 commercial, and then he was featured on the XBox360 Previews. I'm having a great day. Dallas loses the Finals and T-Mac gets the cover.

Vince Carter in 04?</div> Well Yao Ming is better to put on than mcgrady lol, BUT Locke is right, they dont look at statistics, and plus they have been working on him individually for the last year. They already knew a year before who they were going to pick. They didnt want to change it at the last second because he had a bad season. Well now McGrady is on the cover, we will win the championship, just like wade was on the cover of 06. Hopefully Yao will make a cover of any of those games soon.

So for 2K7 they should def. consider LeBron or Kobe. I`d choose LeBron.
Not to discredit him, but with the season he had, why would he be considered over LeBron. LeBron was the first runner up for MVP, took the Pistons to Game 7, and averaged something like 31/7/7. At his young age, I think he'll also be more marketbale; he's becoming "the face" of the NBA. Pretty bad move, in my opinion. Maybe 2K7 picks him up.

You would think they would pick someone that had a great year or w/e but they pick T-Mac. All thought he is one of the best in the NBA and my favorite player, I still think it would of made a little more sense to pick someone that had a good year..
umm..I'm not a hater. I Love T-Mac and he is my favorite player. I was just simply saying he didn't have a good year and you would think EA would put someone that had a good year on the cover.
