<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Flava23:</div><div class="quote_post">and i think the cavs would contend for lottery</div> yeah they would
I always thought Wade was better then LeBron as far as defense goes. To say he is in Jordans level because he won 1 championship is just straight out dumb..
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TopLake:</div><div class="quote_post">Wade + refs > Lebron</div> what are you talking about, bron's "clutch" play in the playoffs came where he traveled twice in one drive, yet the refs didnt call it. wade was fouled, just maybe not hard enough to warrant free throws in that situation.
Man, all these people trying to make our title look not legit.....they look pathetic. Like their stars never get favorable calls at all? Like we all agree with referees all the time? Dallas lost because they couldn't close out the game. Especially game 3 and 5. Ain't no damn phantom calls in this series. If you want, I'll give you photos where the foul is. If you are jealous that Shaq got his 4th ring, say so directly. Don't twist it.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TheFreshPrince:</div><div class="quote_post">what are you talking about, bron's "clutch" play in the playoffs came where he traveled twice in one drive, yet the refs didnt call it. wade was fouled, just maybe not hard enough to warrant free throws in that situation.</div> LeBron had two game winners against the Wizards. One was a travel, the other (the baseline move in Cleveland?) was not. LeBron had a few game winners in the regular season as well (in addition to numerous assists to game winners). It makes very little sense for you to go on and on about LeBron not being clutch. He's clutch. I've showed you ample evidence of this in the past. Wade is just more clutch.
I dont agree. Im so sick of everybody saying Wade is better because he won a Finals. Look at his team! If LeBron had that team he could of won a title too! LeBron has a mediocre cast and he still overachieved this playoffs. I still think LeBron is the better player, title for Wade or not
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting durvasa:</div><div class="quote_post">If that's your opinion, fine. All I'm saying is that the evidence (at least during the regular season) does not support this. So it's silly for you to go crazy when someone disagrees. Just calm down and accept that there are perfectly legitimate arguments to be made for both sides. But let's suppose you're right. Let's say the Cavs would be even worse with LeBron. Well .. the Cavs with LeBron are clearly worse than the Heat with Wade. So, Wade took a very bad team (your words), and made them a champion. LeBron took an even worse team (arguable) and got to the second round. So, how does it follow that LeBron is therefore better than Wade? Even if we suppose Wade had more around him, he also accomplished a whole lot more. What, exactly, is your argument?</div> I wouldn't say Wade has accomplished ALOT more than 'Bron. Yeah sure he has his title and finals mvp, but let's not forget the many records that 'Bron has broken.

H + DW > C + LB, where H is the rest of the Heat and C is the rest of the Cavs. If H > C, it obviously doesn't follow that LB > DW. Yet, as far as I can tell, that seems to be your argument.

LeBron and Dwayne are right there next to each other. The one game that showed me the difference between Wade and Bron was when they played each other on April 1st. Shaq didn't play. Bron had 47 points,12 rebounds(4 offensive), and 9 assists. Wade had 44, 9,and 8. The game went down to the wire. Both guys went at it in the 4th quarter. And LeBron prevailed in the end. This proved it to ME.
WOw this Chuck guy is so busy shuffling thru threads after threads. I don't know why he's so hard to prove that Wade isn't the best. And it makes other players look even worse cuz he won the title and is not even the best. Well good luck Chuck, I got tired of reading anything you write lol

But I still don't say Wade is the best and I disagree with people who say that Wade is no doubt the best in the league. He's one of the best(there's no doubt about that) but I still think that, skill wise, Kobe and LeBron are <u>slightly</u> better.
Obviously neither are extremely greater than the other. They are extremly close in skills and talents and they both exceed each other in different categories. I would give Wade the nod but I can see it going either way.
This lebron took ALMOST took out the pistons thing is annoying. the pistons played very poorly against the cavs and still won. the mavs played very well against a struggling heat team, when all of sudden wade took over and WON the nba championship with a series that will go down in history. and durvasa, lebron never should have had the oppurtunity for that 2nd game winner. arenas was hacked, and the refs ignored it so lebron could have the chance to look like a hero. the play was impressive, but if i was a coach, i wouldnt want lebron taking the gaem winning shot, i'd want plenty of other guys. and for those assists, lebron is the teams leader and best player, so then you would obviously want him to take it. many times he passed up open shots to a teammate because he was too scared to shoot it himself.

Why would Lebron(or any other superstar) want to shoot it when they are doubled and they have someone wide open normally right under the basket(Drew Gooden). They do the right thing in passing away. I never understood criticizing a superstar for getting the game winning assist.

That's a myth popularized by athletes with big egos. Sometimes, the right play is to trust your teammate and give them the opportunity to score. Most people who are really knowledgable about the game (not talking about these sports writers who are paid to have an opinion and that's about it) understand that. I remember precisely one game in which LeBron passed the ball off to a teammate when he should have looked for his own shot, or a better shot. Beyond that, his decision making was usually just fine. You're constantly bashing LeBron because you're jealous of all the love and attention he gets. Fine, I get that. Just try to be more objective, please.
Do we HAVE to agree? What u gonna do to me if I don't agree? Who the hell cares who's better than who right now. Wade got his ring, NBA season is over. Everyone go fishing.
