<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Robert Horry watched only the closing two minutes of Miami's clinching victory in the NBA Finals on Tuesday night. It was enough, however, to make him smile. If Horry and the Spurs couldn't win another title, he at least was glad Dallas fell short in its quest to win its first. "That's the first time I ever rooted for the East," Horry said. "You usually never root for the East, you root for the West. But the way (the Mavericks) acted, it just put a bad taste in my mouth. "All the whining Dallas did, the way (owner Mark) Cuban acted, the way (assistant coach) Del Harris acted on the sideline a couple of times, I was happy to see Dallas lose." While Cuban and Dallas coach Avery Johnson were criticized for their behavior after losing Game 5 of the Finals, Horry didn't like how the Mavericks acted while eliminating the Spurs in the Western Conference semifinals. In addition to saying that Mavericks guard Jason Terry didn't deserve to be suspended for hitting Michael Finley in the groin, Cuban called Tim Duncan a "crybaby," labeled Spurs fans the "rudest" in the league, and called the River Walk "an ugly-ass, muddy-watered thing." Harris also mocked Duncan for complaining about calls during Game 4 of that series, Horry said. "I know the one game we won in Dallas, Avery was crying about the refs," Horry said. "I was like, 'You're crying about the refs?' We're the only ones who should be crying about the refs. We're the ones who are down in the series. "There were just a lot of things that they did that I didn't think were characteristic of a team that's supposed to be in the (top) class." </div> Source
I never really liked Robert Horry ever since he joined the Lakers. Worst sequence ever was when he hit that 3 against the Kings...arg. He should never diss Avery Johnson again, he's an awesome coach who was just fighting for his players...Mark Cuban on the other hand...
Sounds like big shot Bob can't handle losing. And he is talking about class???? Hitting someone when they are down isn't classy.....and at the end of the day...they still lost. Quit crying.
Someone seems to want some attention since he didnt play in the NBA Finals this year. A little bitter? He is and always has been tops on my least favorite player list.

LMAO....Props to Big Shot Bob....Horry will forever have my respect cause he plays the game and doesn't complain about every foul.....and because he used to be a rocket.
Mark Cuban is an ass but you have to show respect. If he was the owner of the team you support you would appreciate his belief and desire to win. As for Big Shot Rob, I don't see why him speaking his mind is a problem. It may be unprofesional but it sets up a little rivalry which would be appealing to the neurtal viewer.

And that everyone has respect for a hippocrite of a player and a disgrace to the game. It has been about a month since the Spurs lost to the Dallas Mavericks, yet he feels it's appropriate to complain to the media over the Mavs. What a hippocrite. How can you go and complain about players complaining?? It's amazing how crazy sports fans are to all of a sudden have great repspect for a man who took a BITE of Jerry Stackhouse's ARM!! Earlier in the season, Horry started a fight, and when all the player were gathering to try and break the fight up HE BIT Stackhouse's arm. Does no one remember this embarassment to the game? How can you respect somone who does that in a game. Starts a fight and then try to bite the player's arm! I just can't believe how you guys have respect for him all of a sudden.
Mark Cuban is an ass, Del Harris was talking shyte, and the Mavs were complaining. But if you think the Spurs jus sat back and played the game you must be flippin HIGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I actually like Horry talking trash. Even though he averaged 2 minutes in the series cuz he would of got worked by Dirk.

He killed us as a laker which is why he was dubbed the spurs killer, now that he is on our side its even better.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting I-Miss-MJ:</div><div class="quote_post">It's funny that people say Dallas whine and moan when Miami were fighting with each other.</div> Besides Payton and Wade arguing a little in the first round series vs the Bulls, when else did the Miami players fight with eachother?
I agree with Horry about Cuban... does anyone outside of Dallas like him? I think it's cool that an owner can be young and "hip" and wear jeans and tshirt to a game and back up his players, but he acts like a classless ass, he's the kid everyone hated in school.
