all this talk about brevin knight...isnt andre miller on the block too? i always see his name mentioned in trade rumors...if we could get him, who would you rather have? just interested to see peoples opinions. im not entirely sold on brevin knight...so many injuries it seems the passed couple of years. seems andre would be a good fit thoughts? *edit* here's what was mentioned in another forum: Chad Ford mentioned today that the Nuggets are shopping Miller for cap space or to move up in the draft. He specifically mentioned the Celtics as the team that was interested. It's on insider, so no link.
Wouldn't mind either one. Miller is a good passer, but he holds on to the ball too long sometimes. Again, wouldn't mind either, just depends on what we give up.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting dj_premium_plus:</div><div class="quote_post">mike james...sign and trade seems like the obvious move</div> Agreed. I like Ridnour more than both of these guys,
me too...but the same token, i like hinrich better then ridnour, and nash best of all, but i dont think either of them are available...if miller is on the market, might be a good idea to go after him pg: andre miller/jose calderon sg: mo pete/roko ukic sf: rudy gay/joey graham pf: charlie V/pape sow c: bosh/rasho now thats a team that can run and gun. i think joey's game would really excel in an open court style of offense...he can run the floor, he's got hops, and he can rebound the ball...he's like a poor man's marion. i think we'd see his game improve if we went to that kind of line up and opend up the floor a little. course as match-ups dictate, we can start a big front court with rasho at C, bosh at the 4 and villa at the 3. bench does look a little weak though...would be nice if we could sign someone to score the ball
Not sure how the Raptors would manage to get Andre being that the Nuggets really look to move up in the draft. That being said, the Celtics are better potential suitors. The 7th pick in the draft makes way more sense for Andre Miller then the first pick in the draft. Unless the Raptors can manage to get two picks in the draft, then I think it would more likely be Ridnour or Brevin Knight coming to town.

I'd personally rather have Brevin Knight. Andre and Brevin have almost the same skills. Both are around the same age. Though Brevin has a smaller contract than Andre by about 3 to 5 million. If Andre gets traded? How will he react to it? Will he show no passion and heart like he did with the Clippers? That is what i question with Andre. Now Brevin would probably be very happy to be playing ball period.
Am I the only one who thinks Jose Calderon is going to be a solid point guard some day and is worth keeping and perhaps starting as well? I realize he is somewhat turnover prone but everytimne I watched the Raptors play last year, he would ignite the offense with his pinpoint passing and drives which would lead to a significant increase in points as well as the crowd getting into it. I think he's a gem worth keeping...let's not throw him away like we did Carlos Arroyo cause I believe that he will surprass even Arroyo in years to come.
...Calderon could be ok...cept he shoots about as good as Shaq shoots free throws. Brutal...He got worse as the season went on. Personally I don't see him as more than a solid backup, change of pace guard. Not a starter. I hope that Ukic can come over as he would provide a better overall point guard defensively, distributer-ively (lol) and athletically. Jose is a heady player but overall I don't know if he can cut it as a starter

I think he will be a solid PG in the future. I think he'll be good for a solid 6-8 APG in his peak years.
