<div align="center"> <font color=""Blue"">Hedo Turkoglu</font></div> <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Orlando has been trying to move up in the draft to get Brandon Roy. But it appears the Magic need to convince a team to take a combo of Hedo Turkoglu and the No. 11 pick, and they've been striking out. Dwight Howard, Jameer Nelson and Darko Milicic are untouchable right now. </div> Well first off, I'm extremely happy Darko, Dwight, and Jameer are untouchable. Now Brandon Roy...great player. Had a phenomenal breakout season for the huskies. But I still think the Magic are good with the 11th pick and drafting a consistent Ronnie Brewer from Arkansas. So we do this trade, and our pluses are....Brandon Roy. Our losses however are Ronnie Brewer and Hedo Turkoglgu who played magnificent during the end of the season including 20ppg 5 rpg and 4 apg during there 8 game winning streak. (not including his 32 points 9 rebounds in the Magic's final game against the Bulls) I will really be dissapointed if Orlando lets The Turk and possibly Ronnie Brewer go.
I agree, I wouldn't do this at all. As talented as Roy is, he is unproven and Turkoglu turned it on during the end of the year and seemed to fit the SF role to perfection. If we do this trade, we still have a problem at SG.
Not worth it. Grant Hill is not a reliable option at small forward and trading away Hedo would just create another whole in our lineup. The answer is no. Brewer + Turk + maybe JR Smith > Roy.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Chuck:</div><div class="quote_post">F That, We Love Turkoglu</div> agree.
we would be giving up way too much if this trade happens, Turk is a great scorer and a underrated defender. I wouldn't trade and estabished player like Turk (and the #11 pick) for a unproven rookie. Besides I don't think the talent drop off is that big of a difference from where we are now (11th)
