Now that Doo-Doo Brown is gone, what do you think our starting lineup will be? There will be tons of moves in the offseason, but as of now: PG: Stephon Marbury SG: Steve Francis SF: Quentin Richardson PF: Channing Frye C: Eddy Curry
Sadly yes. But Jalen Rose at SF. I think the Knicks should trade Marbury or Francis and start Crawford. I really wanna see Crawford and Curry do well in the league, I still love them a lot even though they aren't wearing a Chicago uniform. JC and Curry hopefully can become a cool 2 bunch combo on the Knicks for years to come.
There's still going to be moves in the off-season. They can't possibily go into the season with this lineup. Franchise or Marbury will be moved because I have no idea how they can work together for another season. I'm sure the Knicks will take some chances during the draft and eventually give those players some playing time to see what they can do. This year will really be sort of an experiement year.
The lineup will be PG- S. Marbury... Thomas likes him too much to move him. He wants to run a Suns oriented offense with marbury being nash. Superstar player SG- S. Francis... believe it or not will not be traded either. Thomas is not going to loose more money and trade on of his superstar guards. I see them workin together and getting us to at the least the playoffs. Superstar player SF- Q. Richardson... doesn't have to worry about the trade talk becuase he just has to show up not play exeptional like marbury and francis. PF- C. Fyre...would of got Rookie of the Year. enough said C- E. Eurry.....solid player.

Francis was actually brought in to be a trading chip in the offseason.
MR.J Many changes will be made and Francis will be gone. My sources are indicating for Kenyon Martin. Francis was actually brought in to be a trading chip in the offseason. Thomas has been a fan of francis his whole career...I don't see that trade happening especially when we have frye why would we trade for a foward.

Actually I don't think Isiah has a reason for half of his moves but I think he thought that Marbury and him can work, obviously he was wrong.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Franchise73187:</div><div class="quote_post">Thomas has been a fan of francis his whole career...I don't see that trade happening especially when we have frye why would we trade for a foward.</div> Well, Frye isn't really a defensive-minded power forward. Martin is still very good defensively. Frye also isn't scaring anyone from the paint; Martin is. Makes sense, since we really don't need Francis.

Do you mean would of got rookie of the year if Chris Paul had missed his entire rookie season. Because that is the only way he would even have a chance to me. Explain?

Chris Paul did way too well for anybody to come close to him for ROY. 16,5,8.

I don't think Francis was ever meant to permanently stay a Knick. He's a bargaining chip and he should be the first Knick traded. I do think he'll be in the starting lineup originally, just to boost his value.
As the roster stays now the starting lineup will be: PG/SG-Stephon Marbury PG/SG-Steve Francis SF-Richardson PF-Channing Frye C-Eddy Curry This lineup will obviously get us absolutely nowhere near the playoff race. We'd be giving up at least 100+ points a night due to poor defense and rebounding. But it's safe to say that this wont be the starting lineup when the season begins. There's still plenty of moves to be made. Isiah does still have two expiring contracts and the MLE to fool around with. He'll bring in more overpaid foolsthat nobody wants but they might help the Knicks reach 30 wins. It really doesnt matter what starting line up the Knicks use or what trades Isiah makes. The chances are that Greg Oden will be in a Bulls uniforms for the 2007-2008 season regardless. Anyway I think Isiah Thomas should be fired.
