I dunno the battles he had with Zo in the 90's were classic. I don't know, he's top 10 right there with Zo.
He was great but had trouble against robinson, shaq, and Hakeem. But like u said he and zo had som battles. Id put him in the top 7 somwhere.

Wilt, Russell, Kareem, Shaq, Hakeem, Robinson, Moses (in no particular order) would definitely rank ahead of Ewing. Not sure about Mikan. At best, he's 7th best center. Probably top 10. I wouldn't put Alonzo or Mutombo ahead of him.
mikan was a winner, and the nba changed the rules of the game because of him. he is the most dominant center ever. i know the competition was weak, but he dominated non the less. Heck, opposing teams stadiums even said like The Knicks vs. Mikan.
ewing was a great player, remember that when he was as his best he has the constraint that he face Michael jordan and the Bulls, on the contrary he would end his caeer with some championships, for me he is top 7 in no particular order except for Rusell, Wilt, Moses and Shaq.
