Then he said, and only then, was he truly convinced.</div> Source
the nets arent even that good... maybe this would make sense if he said this about the pistons big 5...
That's true, we still have a gaping hole up front. However, the Pistons had lost their edge during the playoffs this year, mainly due to their defensive lapses. Big Ben wasn't playing like the DPOY he was acclaimed to be, and Billups couldn't carry the load.
I think he said that because that team was able to abuse miami's defencive weaknesses more than any other team. If no one can contend with shaq but the test of their perimeter defence. if you can stop those 3 from penetrating consistantly you can stop any other 3.
All you have to do to beat the nets is stop Kidd and jefferson and let Carter take the shots. Once Carter tries to take center stage the Nets fall apart.
Isn't it supposed to be the big 4 because Nenad Kristic is becoming a force on the Net's offense? <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">All you have to do to beat the nets is stop Kidd and jefferson and let Carter take the shots. He also needs to keep improving on the defensive end.

Furthermore, he torched the Heat all season long. It's when teams stop Kidd & Carter that things start falling apart for the Nets.
Just imagine if NJ just had some decent depth, the Nets could of truly given Miami a better run for the money.
true he responded well by scoring more but he disrupts the flow of the nets... he would rather have his teammates watch him than get them involve... when Kidd has control of the ball the nets are more deadly. This is the NBA not streetball his antics are fun to watch but won't give the nets championships.
