Interesting trade if the teams can pull it off. However, this move makes it a must win situation this year for the TWolves. If you're Kevin McHale would you risk your job security on the likes Kenyon Martin?
This wouldn't be the smartest move by all means, I know that much. Why would you trade away two of your key role players for Keynon Martin? Doesn't make any sense at all to me.
Not happening, what position is K-mart going to play in Minny, he use to be able to step out on the floor and guard perimeter guys at the three spot but with those knees he has now I dont think so. And you can play him at the 4 unless KG was willing to move to the 5. But if that is the case why not just utilize Eddie Griffen more at the 4, he isnt the on ball defender that that K-mart is but he is probably a better weakside shot blocker at the respective points in their careers and his shooting range creates more floor spacing for KG, when you play them alongside each other. Martin, cant create that type of spacing on offense. And he is cheaper then K-mart. If the Wolves were looking for another 4 man, all they have to do is look at the end of their bench, getting a high price PF like K-mart isnt going to solve their front court sitaution they need to find a legit 5, so KG can flourish at his natural 4 spot. So I dont see this deal going down and definately not a smart one from Minny's persective, even tho Jaric is trash and Davis is just decent, so they wouldnt be given up much, but Martin, just isnt what they need at this time. They would be better off trying to get Nene, I mean Martin is just as big of a risk as Nene, even tho he didnt miss the whole season. But his injurues/knee troubles are re-occurring
