The loss of Hughes wouldn't be good for the depth of the team, however Flip has proven he could fill in as a replacement. The only problem is, they still need to maintain some depth otherwise Lebron will get worn out. He can't do everything all the time, and teams will just double him every time he touches the ball. If he doesn't have a decent supporting cast they never win a championship. They are only about 8 deep with Marshall, Jones, and Varejao coming off the bench to play a majority of the minutes. So hopefully this offseason treats them well.

How can Larry complain about his playing time, when he was injured most of the season? Let him go. We need to so we can gain some cap space and plant a new seed at the shooting guard spot.

Ice, you make a very good point of us riding into the season as of right now 8 deep if Hughes does leave. At the same time though, if the Cavs pick correctly then we can be rolling 10 deep into the season. Pavolic showed potential as well, so he could get LeBron some breathing time. That makes 11. We will be fine.

I told Cleveland fans from day one that Larry is coming into Cleveland way overrated, and they all looked at me like I was healthy. He can't stay healthy and when he's healthy, he's overrated. His game isn't that great offensively and he gambles a lot, defensively. It's going to be hard to ship Hughes, if they're looking to do that. His stock might be at an all-time low right now.

They might actually want to call the Lakers up and see if they're interested....surpise surpise, the Lakers. Hughes has some experience playing the point, but he could be a good guard to put alongside Kobe, I just don't think L.A. would bite. I think they're sick of injuries.

An overpaid complaining guard, congrats Larry Hughes, you have fulfilled all the requirements of becoming a New York Knick.

Nooooooooooo not Larry Hughes, love that boy, don't go.

I thought he got plenty of playing time, he just had a bad year, made lots of 3's and went to the line a lot early this season.

Besides, they were all behind him during the death of his brother...I thought that was deep...

Wait so Hughes is pissed at Wizards for poking fun about his role in Cleveland?
