With the Finals ending less than a week ago, us Mav fans havent really been talking much about the draft. We own the 28th and 58th picks in the draft, where do you think we should go? In my opinion, our greatest needs are someone who can back up Dirk or a guard who can play either backcourt position and can set the table. If Mardy Collins was still on the board at 28, that would be my choice. I watched a lot of him while he was at Temple and I think he would fit what we need perfectly. If not, we need to go PF and find someone who can play behind Dirk. What do you fellow Maverick fans think?
I really like going for Freeland or Augistine with the 28th. I havent really paid attention to our second round possibilites.
The Mavs should Trade Marquis to the Bulls for the 16th pick. I just read an article about that from the Bulls forum. Avery doesn't like Marquis? Fine, send him to Chicago.
After seeing how this draft has panned out, where does everyone think we will go? I'm thinking someone like Farmar, if he is still there. We need a pure PG.
Mavericks go for Maurice Ager. Not a bad choice if you ask me. A lot of mocks had him going higher. Hopefully we get another steal. Think this paves the way for Daniels' exit?
man i can't believe ager fell so far in the draft, that's a HUGE steal for the Mavs, ager is awesome, i was hoping the bulls would switch it up on everyone and select him with the 16th...y do all my fave players keep going to dallas?

He's too selfish; they need a role player, a defensive minded wing, not a player like Ager who is a poor decision maker and tends to concentrate solely on his offense. A better pick would probably would have been Mardy Collins or even Paul Davis.
Exactly what I'm saying. Mardy Collins would have been PERFECT. He can play D, he does the dirty work, and he can set the table and make plays. Sounds like what we need
