So scratch Davis. Iverson would solve our perimeter defense problems. He's a better defender than Baron and I see him playing with Monta eventually. The other issue he solves is the rift between Baron and Monty. Mullin denied there was a rift between Baron and Monty, but MT2 said something to the effect of you won't get a dial tone by Mullin if you ask for Baron (in a trade) . Of course, is AI going to get along with Monty? AI and Monta Ellis playing together would be interesting. I don't like him with Fish as he seems to be a better fit with our second team than first team.
How credible is Marcus Thompson, though? I bet Mullin would deal the entire team for another soft, jumpshooting forward to complement our athletic brick-throwing backcourt.
