Well Twardzick was demoted, so its Otis Smith that's at fault, but I guess Twardzick was the talent scout...

Reddick is a nice pick if you got the D for it. It would be an upgrade over Deshawn Stevenson who can't shoot worth crap from behind the nba 3 point line. I don't think Orlando can shoot distance shots at all, in fact.

I think the reason why Brewer is falling is because that shot of his is super funky. But man he would have been my pick if the need for a high potential center wasn't greater. Brewer I'd imagine would be a great defensive guy for steals, ballhandling, passing and the such.

    Twardzik and Redick? Sounds familiar.

What the... Twerdzik was demoted? Why? He can destroy a franchise faster than any human being! I guess there is some people in Orlando organization with a brain...

Well he's better than Sene that's for sure. [IMG]

And let's face it, I don't think we've ever had a free agent center knocking down our door or a guy we could get through trade that wasn't an expiring deal. The only centers right now getting dealt are like Rasho, Kandiman, Blount, Nozzy Mohammed, and any other lower tier big man. At least O'bryant could become better... I just don't feel as confident saying that as the next guy.

Plus, what's up with the ESPN guys talking about his cooking? The only thing he should be cooking is his game, because it's freakin' raw. He so weak he can't hold position against smaller guys and he's right hand dependent. He does blocks shots with either hand so there's hope I guess...

It sounded like Foye schooled Brewer with his D. After that and his great workouts, he shot up pretty fast. I wouldn't have minded if Warriors took Foye, too.

I wish Mullin could've traded Murphy for #2 (hot rumor), but it sounded like other teams didn't want to take on Murphy's big contract. It's going to be a problem in trades. Gotta give up somebody good for them to take Murphy.

Yeah, it was announced a while ago on the Magic website. There is no longer co-gms, it's just Otis Smith.

Hey what's with the bulls drafting so many small forward type guys???

Maybe they can give us Luol Deng or Noccioni in a trade. Heck Deng may be slow but at least the guy does a bit better than Dunleavy. Noccioni is also a guy to have if you want an enforcer at small forward and a nice shooter.

I knew it! If you got a guy that can alter shots (which Foye is known to do), you can take away Brewer's shot. That's not the case with Morrison, Roy, or JJ Redick who can shoot with a hand in their face. Even that Swiss guy came up before Brewer. Let's hope Brewer doesn't slide past Carney. That would suck for him.

I've always felt some with Brewer that if you can contest his shot or he can't get inside, it's really difficult for him to do stuff. Plus, he does more of his stuff with the ball than without it. Defensively he's supposed to be good at defense, but I some others say different. I liked his wingspan, athleticism, but can he also play a halfcourt game or just only a transition game?

What was just traded? Minny and the Blazers... how? Foye for Roy?

I guess Stern is as puzzled as I am for why that trade went down. Weird...

Yeah, another Jamison-Carter type of trade. Swapping picks for cash...

Uhh... which one's Jamison and which one's Carter?

I like Roy with T-Mac = Carter. Foye and KG sounds good, too = Jamison.

Nah, I meant both teams selected those players for others just like Toronto selected Jamison for us and we drafted Carter for Toronto and gave $250,000. I mean, we heard people complaining about trading Carter, when it really never happened in reality...

Yeah Kwan is right on this. For all the new warriors fans onboard, Vince Carter/Antoine Jamison was prearranged deal. Warriors wanted Jamison not Carter way before draft. It just turned out that Carter was the better marquee player and one of the most popular guards in the nba because of the highlight reel factor. Both those guys probably wouldn't win all by themselves, I mean last time I checkd basketball was a team sport which means you need other four guys on your team + a bench and for your best guy to make others better. I mean look at the Warriors and Toronto constantly going back to the lottery because we don't properly build our teams and we're stuck with nothing but guards... We still don't have that guy that elevates everyone else's play on a regular basis.

Wow, Kosta Perovic. I remember reading a lot about him in 2004 when he was supposed to be one of the top big men in the draft. I'm sure he's going to stay in Europe until he pans out, which could be never.

I'm very happy with this pick though. The Warriors have had some great second round picks the last two years.

My one hope for this draft now is that when the Portland GM said they weren't done dealing yet, that O'Bryant would be putting on a Blazer hat.

What about O'bryant being dealt when Murphy's BYC1 status is over? That might be enough to swing some good players if they feel POB is the icing on the cake with Murphy's solidness on the boards and shooting the ball. Just the whole timing of the contracts couldn't be worse...

All I know is I was as split as most warriors fans between Brewer/POB/or just trading the entire pick which we probably struggled doing. Wasn't anybody else?
