<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">While the Toronto Raptors are keeping everyone guessing as to what they'll do with the No. 1 overall choice - they haven't publicly declared whether they'll even keep the pick - what the Chicago Bulls do with the second pick may be equally as intriguing. The scuttlebutt is the Bulls will take either Louisiana State forward Tyrus Thomas or shooting guard Brandon Roy of Washington. If the Bulls take Roy, look for them to select a big man with their second, first-round pick - No. 16. The Bulls are likely to further solidify their frontcourt later this summer by signing Joel Przybilla, the former Bucks and current Portland center who'll be a free agent. The Atlanta Hawks have the fifth overall pick, and, even though they have a glut of forwards in Marvin Williams, Josh Smith and Al Harrington, they have allegedly made a verbal promise to take Duke power forward Shelden Williams. The Boston Celtics are fervently trying to appease star forward Paul Pierce, who understandably wants some help around him. The Celtics' No. 1 target is 76ers star guard Allen Iverson. If they can't secure Iverson, they'll try to land Portland's Sebastian Telfair. And, if that fails, they'll use their top pick, No. 7, on Roy, if he's still available. The Celtics aren't the only ones in hot pursuit of Iverson, though. Atlanta is making a strong pitch and so is Golden State, which is dangling Baron Davis and the No. 9 pick as trade bait. Minnesota, which has the seventh overall pick, is leaning toward taking Randy Foye instead of UConn's Marcus Williams. If UConn's Rudy Gay or Gonzaga's Adam Morrison aren't among the top three picks, one of them could fall as far as eighth to Houston. Of course, that could change as well since Houston and Atlanta are talking trade. While Phoenix officials insist they aren't shopping Shawn Marion, rumors still persist they'll deal him for the right price. The latest Marion rumor has him going to Memphis with Battier and Mike Miller going to Phoenix. </div> Source
I've never heard of so many trade rumors going around on draft night since....like as long as i can remember
lol, one of the rumor is wrong already... houston already trade rudy gay and swift to memphis for shane battier..
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting King23James:</div><div class="quote_post">i think they might ai going to golden state and baron and 7 draft pick going to 76ers</div> You should put a little more thought into your posts the draft if over, and the Warriors never had the seventh pick.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Best Kept Secret:</div><div class="quote_post">You should put a little more thought into your posts the draft if over, and the Warriors never had the seventh pick.</div> Maybe he meant '07 draft pick. But still our next year's draft pick? No freakin' way! Baron for AI or nothing at all because we may need that pick next season I don't want no Isaiah Thomas type blunder when we trade away all of our playmaking and our rebounding and we get a high pick in a deep draft for once. The warriors need a big man and they absolutely can't afford to blow it after being wrong so many times when we've had #1 and #4 and #3 overall pick.
