Passing on Marcus Williams was just strike 1...

Renaldo Balkman? I am flat out stunned fellas. This kid came off the bench most of the season at South Carolina. But he will provide you with energy off the bench...I just don't understand why you draft him in the first round when he's projected to be a late second rounder.

Balkman?.. Balkman?? There's no excuse for picking him up at 20. None, whatsoever. Even if by chance he turns out to be a Dennis Rodman, there's no excuse to waste the 20th pick on him when no other team would even be considering him in the 1st round. Why not use the other pick on him?? This was an oppurtunity for Isiah to alleviate the situation, and he's been pretty solid in draft choices. What happened here?

Renaldo Balkman would of been available in the second round. Just an awful choice.

Dude, that's strike 1 and 2. They passed on Williams and Farmar.

Maybe he turns into this year's Charlie Villanueva? .... I can't even keep a straight face saying that.

For Thomas, this is like strike 7 or 8.

Balkman!? Am I the only one who didnt even know this kid was on the board? I mean why pick a bench warming 9 and 4 player from a weak division with the 20th pick!!! I really think that Isiah is on some sort of drugs, I mean really, he even had the nerve to come out and say he would still pick Eddy Curry, an under achiveving never proven anything centre with a life threatining heart condition, over every player in ths years draft.

Just, his logic really astounds me, I mean, I honestly dont know wether to laugh at his moves, cry, be angry, I'm just really astounded.

    Knicks fans should boycott Isiah.

Redick isnt that bad. I mean at least you knew he existed before Orlando's selection. Knick fans had look this Renaldo Balkman guy up.

Anyway I think Isiah Thomas should be fired.

Well Thomas has to be able to say he didn't have the talent to finish better than last place next year.
Seeing how he is in charge of picking too this makes perfect sense.

Maybe when Isiah Thomas saw the word Renaldo, he confused himself with Ronaldo, and since Ronaldo is one of those big contract superstar players, he thought he had to have this guy. Wait, but Ronaldo plays soccer, not basketball. Brilliant.

Because the Knicks believed that a team between 21-2 wanted to pick him, including the Suns (according to rumours they wanted him and then traded their picks when they couldnt get him).
