NBA DRAFT.net already changed all players locations to where they are actually going. David Stern never actually announced the trade. David Stern announced every other proposed trade. Caroll Dawson only Gm not go have made any comment could he be scrambling trying to figure out whats going on?
ESPN side scrolled all the drafts and trades on the bottom of the screen on sportscenter and everything looked right except it said 8) Hou-Rudy Gay (no trade) DUM DUM DUM! Now but for real a trade should go down sooner or later, Houston is retarded when it comes to draft and overrate defense. W/E, right now my emotions have been on a roller coaster 2day. I am wiped out to care anymore.
I'm someone who is hoping that the trade is false. Maybe the reason CD was not interviewed is becasue almost every analyst and the majority of Houston fans are against the trade. Too scared to show his face? The Rockets are giving up way to much for Battier. The Houston Chronicle reported that the trade could not be finalized until July 12th.

It was already in the Chronicle.. but the fact that Stern didn't announce it was interesting. There must be some stipulation or something going on. Still on the fence for this. Battier is a Rocket-Killer, who will be great on this team, but Rudy Gay has potential. I'd rather him suck on the Rockets as opposed to be great for Gas-hole's team.
Dawson cant confirm the trade until July 12th so wait till then.. it is against nba rules to confrim the trade in front of media. so it will be confirmed on july 12th or later. thats what they said on the radio (Am 610)

GUYS LISTEN UP....I as everyone knows am the biggest advocate for Rudy Gay. I honestly am. I am extatic about keeping Rudy Gay, but the fact of the matter is there is a 80% chance he might leave for memphis. We give up Rudy Gay and Stromile. Boston gives up Gerald green and many more. I think Rockets traded for Battier and Green. So until I see something like this happen then I believe we keep Rudy Gay. Swift and Battier's contract are almost identical with only $7,000 difference in their 2005-2006 season salary. It's just like we're giving Rudy Gay away for free without even getting the Grizzlies' 24th pick. That's unfair if you think of it. Now if we get Battier and Green I would be so so........ happy, because we get a bonus in Green who has the same upside and potentials as Gay and their both of the same age. This would make sense at all.

Well don't get carried away here guys. The rumor is Battier is a CBY player so he can't be a rocket until july 12. That might be delaying the deal or this 4 team rumor might be. Who knows?
