Brown, who says the Knicks should pay him $40 million, filed the grievance Wednesday, the New York Daily News and New York Post reported. The Knicks, who fired the coach after one season, claim they're not obligated to pay the full amount because Brown violated terms of his contract.</div> Source
The Knicks owe him the $, unless in court they can prove he did violate the contract, which is doubtful. I really don't get how anyone can sign someone with such credibilty to such a lucrative contract and not really give him a chance. One year is not a good chance. I guess Isiah really thinks he can do a better job. I'll enjoy watching and laughing at him. My money says Isiah doesn't make it through the season.

Many of the players Isiah got were because of Larry Brown. Brown said, "I beg you to get these players" regarding Francis and Jalen Rose. 42 different starting lineups also helped the Knicks to be inconsistent. He also broke Dolan's golden rule: don't talk to associates through the media. If that was a part of the contract, then Brown wouldn't be entitled to all of his money.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Platehpus:</div><div class="quote_post">Isiah is a LIAR.</div> Yup. And he's not a very good one if he expects anyone with an IQ above room temperature to believe all that crap about Larry Brown wanting Jalen Rose and Steve Francis of all people. Anyway I think Isiah Thomas should be fired.
